I'll probably be on tonight once I have my shit together for work. Have the add on maps downloading as we speak as I fancied a bit more variety. Plus I'm really interested in Pripyat and things like that so wanted to see the Vacant map. Was doing vaguely ok last night and had a brief play this morning which was OK but had a bit of a mare earlier this afternoon. K/D was up a bit again too! But suspect it may have plummeted since with this afternoon.

Well, having tried that I am even less impressed than I was with FIFA, but don't think I will be buying either. To me despite all the advances and the extra things you can do with dribbling and all that they just seem to lack something these days. Maybe they are just too complicated for me nowadays but neither seem to have the fun factor they used too and seem very slow to me.

I'm waiting for the demo to download. Haven't played any FIFA or PES for a hell of a long time now. Wasn't ultra convinced by the FIFA 2011 demo so hoping the demo of this will be more convincing.

I take if for the Akimbo magnums you need to work your way through the challenges for the first pistol to open the Magnums up? Edit: just answered my own question, magnum opens at level 26.

As an aside with Black Ops coming out soon, what opinion do you have on the map packs for MW2, not sure it's worth it with Black Ops coming soon.

Is prestige after the normal numbered levels? My K/D ratio is very slowly improving to an impressive 0.30! What are you lot using as a secondary weapon? At the moment I have PP2000 machines pistol but I am not really using it. People with two shotguns seem to do well close quarters. I have bling now too, so still using the Scar but with grenade launcher and agog site. Agog seems to have made a difference as I at least have some long range aiming capability now rather than just aiming in general direction and hoping for the best. Who's on later today? I'll be in and out of game until this evening, if anyone spots me send an invite and I'll join as soon as whatever match I am in finishes.

Just had my first game with more kills than deaths. Was only 7 to 6 but well pleased anyway. Was on terminal though and the back of the plane proved extremely useful. Still not exactly getting it totally right, but gone back to original game plan, Scar with SOH, stopping power and steady aim. Only skirting outside of map, not exactly proving much use as a team player to be fair but still a hell of an improvement on last week as I was really struggling Saturday and Sunday. Byrnie, I know what you mean with doorways and what have you. Last weekend I was really struggling in general and couldn't seem to get into any position without being prone or being killed. Couldn't even do my previous trick of waiting for people coming for revenge on Al then picking them off.

Aye that's them. Sure at the time the owner was trying to get Dunga and Zico around the same time.

In July he's trying to get involved in a police stand off armed only with a fishing rod, chicken and some cans. Two months later he's managing a football club! It could only happen to Gazza.

It's doing my head in this morning as nothing seems to be working and all I'm doing now is getting myself annoyed with it. Going to leave it for the weekend now and play Grant Theft and Dirt 2 for some light relief for a while and try again with MW2 tomorrow night. Looking at the kill cams, they are spotting me aiming then firing before I even start to aim half the time. Or I'm unloading shed loads of bullets without doing any damage then they hit me with one and I'm done.

Don't think I will ever be able to, got sniper rifle and lightweight and can't get to it. Managed to get to that spot where the sniper was hiding on Afghan on the game where I couldn't tell you an byrnie where he was.

I'm doing recons of the maps at the moment, found where they were pinning us down near the respawn point on highrise (the half floor above the office) and trying to get onto the roof at the southern end as I saw someone get up there but I can't make the jump to the scaffolding. TK would probably manage it as he good at that jumping around lark. Is there a way to try and grab when you jump to make sure you don't miss what your jumping for?

Couldn't get my act together at all last night. Haven't played since the first weekend I got the game and I seem to have gotten worse. On the game byrnie said he hadn't killed anyone I don't think I even saw an opposition player apart from killcams. Hope it's lack of practice as the weekend I first played it I had played the storyline through then went online. Haven't played it since. Oh and Byrnie, you killed me in the first game when you came online you bastard. Although at least you where opposition at that point, I was trying to kill TK at one point because and not realising he was on my side.

Anybody got a non sopcast stream? (never managed to get sopcast to work for me ever). Struggling to find a stream elsewhere.

The tax return isn't all that bad, you just enter your info from your P60 from your normal job then details for the extra work on top. If you keep everything quite simple it shouldn't be out of the way for an accountant cost wise if it still fazes you. Only costs me £60 as a sole trader but my business model is very simple.

Got a headset now need to charge it before I can pair it though :-( Bought Colin McRae Dirt 2 while I was there so that will do for amusement for a short while as I wait for headset to charge. Loads to do tonight so not sure I will definitely get on, but if I do will be up for a game. Just depends how much stuff I get sorted without getting too distracted by McRae

I downloaded Treme a month or so ago, really good as are The Corner and Generation Kill. Found the Corner a little hard going with it being so bleak.

Am I the only one having thoughts that should probably mean prison time due to RiS mistyping first?

Had a look on the web this morning and it was rust I was on about. Anybody got recommendations on a headset/mic? Preferably mint but very cheap. Will probably head to the metro centre after work and get one tonight. Lads at work are sick of me going on about it already today. First they got ten minutes of me ranting about C&A (one of then mentioned the article about us not losing points and set me off) then an hour of very detailed description of how we spent the evening maiming and killing. The general consensus on my theory of having using msn voice call in addition to game mic to give effectively give a secure channel with msn then spread disinformation with the game mics was taking it too seriously!

I think it might be rust. It was a desert type one, it had a air duct king if thing you could run up on top of from ground level, and a ladder which went to a high platform that I camped on at the end.

Need to get a headset. At the scrapyard when you 2 couldn't spot the sniper I had seen him but couldn't let you know. Was trying to provide cover to stop anyone sneaking up but only managed to get a couple of kills out of that. Also you will have to show me where the pipe was that had the guy hiding in it on the one where they kept on getting all of us pinned down in the corner that everyone respawned.
