  1. If this is true then Alonso is a real dick head and can fuck off to Madrid right now for all I care.
  2. What have you got against Rafa, when he first took over we were a joke of team who struggled to get into the top 4 with rubbish players like Heskey, Biscan, Traore etc. 5 years down the line we've become title contenders and were so close to winning the league last season. We've made massive progress since he arrived I expect that to continue next season.
  3. Rafa is one who makes the decisions that he thinks will benefit this football club, if he thought bringing in Barry would improve us then so be it, a manager lives and dies by his decisions and sometimes you have to gamble to be successful. If Xabi didn't like being touted around europe then that's just tough, he must be a very insecure person if he can't cope with that.
  4. Why are people blaming Rafa for Xabi's imminent departure when he has said about 10 times that he doesn't want to sell Xabi but Xabi has been mostly silent and when he has said something his comments have been very ambiguous.
  5. How is it Rafa's fault, yes last summer he was trying to sell Xabi but this time around it sounds like Xabi's engineering a move away. We don't need players who aren't fully committed to playing for this football club.
  6. I agree , the way Xabi's been talking lately suggests he isn't committed to the club so he can fuck off to Real if he doesn't like it here, him and that cunt Ronaldo deserve each other imo.
  7. Xabi Alonso appears ready to leave Liverpool | Football - Times Online Liverpool have slapped a £35 million price-tag on Xabi Alonso Tony Evans, Gary Jacob Liverpool placed a £35 million valuation on Xabi Alonso last night after the Spain midfield player said his goodbyes to some members of the club's staff. However, Real Madrid, with whom the player has been linked, have not yet made an official offer. Alonso's relationship with Rafael Benítez has been troubled since the Liverpool manager began his pursuit of Gareth Barry last year. Although Benítez wants to keep the 27-year-old, there is a growing acceptance at Anfield that the player is likely to move to Real. Benítez has justified paying up to £18.5 million to Portsmouth for Glen Johnson, who has joined on a four-year contract, because the right back was English. The manager has offered a new contract to Álvaro Arbeloa, who has one year left on his deal, but is also wanted by Real. “We knew the market was going to be difficult this summer and some of it has been crazy,” Benítez said. “We could buy one more player without selling anyone.” I bet this is what Brownie heard last night.:(
  8. I love Xabi and I don't want him to leave, there's not many players in the world who can pass as well as him apart Pirlo Xavi etc but we'll never get those players. If he wants to go and we get a good price for him and Arbeloa(38 million) we could replace him with a different type of CM like Javi Martinez who's box to box or bring in a world class striker like David Villa and move Gerrard back into midfield. LFC was here before Alonso and will go on after he leaves we're Liverpool FC not Xabi Alonso FC, no one player is bigger than the Club.
  9. The statement doesn't rule out Xabi being sold to Madrid but it does pour cold water onto the rumours that he wants to leave at least. If he does go it'll be Rafa's decision.
  10. Despite what all the rumours are saying about Xabi being unhappy because Rafa tried to flog him last season, I personally think Xabi is far too professional to hold grudges, this interview from last October seems to suggest this: "I prefer not to think too much about how I was treated. It was a new situation for me, something I had never experienced before. Get bang up to date with all the latest transfer rumours and tell us your own gossip right here... "It is a fact that any player can be really happy where he is, but if the club don't want him, he has to accept it. There is not much you can do. "It is not always easy to detach yourself from things like that, but I accept it is part of football and the main thing is it was all resolved and I am now playing regularly. "I was really pleased that I was able to continue my Liverpool career."
  11. Wantaway Liverpool midfielder Mascherano set for Barca in £35m deal By Sportsmail Reporter Last updated at 10:41 PM on 19th June 2009 Sportsmail exclusively revealed earlier this month that the midfielder was unsettled but Benitez had hoped to persuade him to stay. However, Fernanda is pregnant, has returned to South America with their daughter Iola and does not want to fly back. Benitez is understanding but still wants at least £35m for his midfield enforcer. Mascherano's agent, Walter Tamer, held talks on Wednesday with Barca general manager Raul Sanlehy and sporting director Txiki Begiristain, who will offer around £20m plus possibly striker Bojan Krkic.
  12. That's good news about Xabi but bad news about Masch. If both Barca and Madrid are in for Masch its going to be very difficult to keep hold of him.
  13. I have a question whats wrong with posting on.tv., there must be a massive hatred for that place on here because I've already got 951 negative reputation points.
  14. Is he the community Mod who's so far up Hicks and Gilletts arse.
  15. Its fairly obvious that you're a WUM, I asked you last night and I'll ask again who are you on .tv (Natural Skill, Rafaout, Graggy), who?
  16. It doesn't matter whether he has valid points or not, he's still a cunt.
  17. That's mainly because of Momo being a grade A cunt.
  18. Speaking seriously now, all the noises currently coming out of the club at the moment are that Rafa does not want to sell Masch and Alonso. It seems that ultimately it will down to both of them to decide whether they want to go or not. I hope they make the right choice and stay because there such a key part of our spine, losing both of them would only send us backwards not forwards.
  19. Not quite, a few months ago when his alias was Scotty T he was calling Rafa everything under the sun, a few weeks ago he was backing Rafa, last night he had a tirade against Bascombe.
  20. Yes, I was taking the piss with this post.
