liverpool are not far away from being the perfect team.they need a star player who will take the weight away from the others shoulders, the way lionel messi takes barcelona in his stride. messi is not unstoppable but a team allowed to play in full flow are.arshavin would have been the perfect player at anfield.

surely for the sake of the teams performances the players must meet and see the fans at least once a week,if the team performs badly nowadays they can sneak away into the country and forget about bad performances. in the old days the fans questioned them (in a nice way)and we usually got a good answer from them.to hell with this superstar stuff, let them meet the people who pay through the noses to support them and let our kids meet the players we all adore without having to cough up a fortune.

i am a celtic fan and i feel that since the team built the new state of the art training ground(2 years ago) the team has distanced itself from the fans,you have to make appointments and pay to be shown round the complex and in my opinion thats wrong .(its 15 miles away from parkhead) before that we trained at barrowfield which was close to the stadium and the fans got to meet the players daily and get photos and autographs done all the time.why should the fans have to pay to see our heroes all the time? surely these teams owe us the fans something back for making them what they are today.players need privacy and a place to train but why should the fans have to pay at every single opportunity. how is the liverpools fans relationships with their players?
