  1. My boss has said that he wants us all to start working back in the office on Monday, with 1 or 2 exceptions. That seems really early to me? Is the official advice still to work from home if you can? Is this changing on Monday? I wasn't expecting this yet. We have quite a small office and don't really have the space to socially distance properly.
  2. The mayor of Bristol only needs to appeal to Bristol though. I don't think there was anything wrong with what Starmer said on this issue. The people that were involved in bringing down the statue won't be voting Tory at the next election.
  3. Agreed. He certainly won't win back the Brexit Heartlands voters. At best he will appeal to Lib Dem types but I don't think that will be enough to get even a hung parliament. A lot can change in 4 years though. Hopefully Johnson and Cummings continue on their current path of destruction.
  4. Other than that though we've made a lot of progress?
  5. Less good news for Starmer and Labour https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/leaked-labour-report-sees-black-voters-quit-party-over-final-straw_uk_5ea70e55c5b6a30004e62cc0
  6. I think i'm right in saying that Corbyn inflicted more defeats on the government that any opposition leader in recent history?
  7. Ipsos Mori suggesting a rise in support for Starmer and Labour.
  8. Another thing they won't be able to enforce. Are they still going ahead with the 14 day self/Isolation quarantine for people travelling through Airports on Monday? The logic of bringing that in now blows my mind!
  9. The stories are already coming out that we won't be making any major signings this summer. From the owners perspective we have won the Champions League and are about to win The Premier League. All the clubs around us have potential problems, so they probably think whatever happens next year we will still be in the the top four, so they have decided that this deal isn't worth it. Also I think they were relying on Werner only wanting to come to us, so probably thought they could haggle over the price rather than pay the release clause. On the face of it, paying a £50 million transfer fee and £50/60 million in wages on a player that wouldn't be first choice is a bit excessive. I felt Werner would eventually force his way in to the starting line up though and possibly lead to the sale of Salah/Mane in 12 months.
  10. The sales of Hazard and Morata will cover it?
  11. He seems to do better as a wide player in a front three. Seems to struggle as an out an out striker from what I've seen/read.
  12. Maybe get rid of the British teams and nations and make it an overseas draft? I had an idea for an ultimate Premier League draft where you can pick from any club, but only 1 player per club and there's no cut off point for making their debut, the only rule is that they must have played in the Premier League and only Premier League appearances count towards the club they are eligible for?
  13. If the season gets played out in full why would Sky be due a rebate? If Sky start to piss of Premier League clubs, surely that would make it more likely that they will lose the rights to the games in future?
  14. Here here. It's about time we started fighting back and launched Meninism.
  15. Surprised that nobody went with Neil Sullivan in goal, I would say he is better than some of the more recent Scottish goalkeepers that have been picked?

  18. In all seriousness he was a real high quality player. Rafa Benitez was a huge admirer and wanted to bring him to Liverpool.
  19. I reckon he was too knackered from shagging Kate Lawler!
  20. That's not the on they voted for!
  21. Hat trick for Jadon Sancho today for Dortmund. Really hope United don't get him.
  22. Cheers. Back over to you then @lifetime fan
