  1. It was not aimed at you, but the overall narrative. I absolutely hate man city and newcastle and everything their owners are doing (anyone can see some of the shit I post on their respective threads), but there is a real xenophobic undercurrent to the way owners are being assessed superficially.
  2. When Klopp said he couldn't buy a defender because 'we had bills to pay' despite us playing 6th choice CBs, was he talking about his vodafone direct debit? Or is that also another "one and only time" he's done it?
  3. Ah yes they shouldnt fund anything out of their own pockets, no sireebob! Those pockets should be reserved for being lined with 3bn when they eventually sell us only! Otherwise they are cheats and don't understand the liverpool way!
  4. I am going to assume that if you think Klopp has actively decided not to spend money that is sat there on the table waiting for him, because of "reasons", then you also think he's a dumb cunt. Because you are literally posing that he is fucking thick enough to think his squad is good enough without investment. Apparently when Klopp said "we have bills to pay" to explain why we didn't buy any defenders during the 2021 crisis, he actually meant he felt too stressed spending the millions the club had made available to him because he hadn't sorted his leccy bill at home.
  5. @dave u should record another podcast and explain to everybody that the reason we have not utilized the 273 million we could have is because of klopp. even if he wanted to spend any money, spending money is cheating. we should instead be trying to grow world class footballers in the fertile soil behind anfield.
  6. So have they fucked the club over if they sell us to another set of minge bags who can't afford to buy players for us? Or will it be okay because they're not dirty arabs?
  7. How do you embed tweets on here? https://twitter.com/MoChatra/status/1591823667239190528?s=20&t=o82uNwaVcSV1wSA1YWesKA
  8. I'm trying to figure out if that message was for our current owners or our next. I noticed klopp also said the other day that whilst everything is going on with the seeking of new investment, we have to keep things during the 'in between' time. I was wondering if that meant he expects to be backed in January regardless of any sale.
  9. Don’t be so touchy man I’m just having a laugh. It’s all fun and games in here, my username is frencheyeglass for fucks sake and I don’t even know why.
  10. This feels much further along than people may think. I think we get sold during the World Cup and I'd bet Klopp has already spoken to the prospective buyers. David Ornstein @David_Ornstein Liverpool director Mike Gordon stepping back from managing operations + CEO Billy Hogan taking greater responsibility, as @BostonGlobe reports. Described as natural evolution but sources say Gordon will focus on potential #LFC sale by FSG. @TheAthleticFC
  11. Please mate, tell us more about how the multi billionaire Steve Balmer has been a massive failure in his corporate endeavors. This forum is nothing without your sage opinion.
  12. I agree with this too but I think when you are walking such a tight rope, your flaws as a manager become exposed. I also do not think Klopp has full say on sanctioning sales, it was something that Edwards and Gordon had a massive part in. So if you're getting an offer of $14m for Ox two seasons ago, which is deemed under value, I thin that sale only happens if Klopp says Ox is completely finished. But I don't think Klopp would say that out of loyalty, and that is where I think he has some blame. But I do wonder how much Gordon and Edwards advise against a sale in that scenario (and even, block it) because it is deemed under value.
  13. Just saw that based on your post, that certainly is interesting. I actually know somebody who works directly for Billy Hogan at Liverpool, but not well enough to ask him about it. I'm sure that'll mean he'll get a lot more responsibility too. Agree that it is not a coincidence.
  14. Why are you responding to him? It's worthless. We are literally debating with an idiot, which makes us idiots, so I'll leave it there.
  15. Caveat to the above post, I have done absolutely no research to back it up because I can’t be arsed but I would be amazed if somebody can find another instance of somebody making circa $4Bn profit from the sale of a football club.
  16. Interest is putting it mildly, they will be the biggest profiteers from the sale of a football club in the history of the sport. Read that again. They stand the make the biggest profit ever made when selling a football club as a result of buying us for nothing, investing next to nothing, and selling us for billions. And there are people on here that want us to be thankful to them for that fact. Take your money and fuck off you cunts.
  17. Oh really, show me proof that fsg actually offered Jurgen $150m to spend but he decided to reject it so he could watch our midfield get ran through every game? Oh you can't? Funny that. Moron.
  18. “show me evidence FSG have taken millions out the club! It’s not true! Talk is cheap!” Ornstein in a couple of months: “FSG have sold Liverpool football club to Donald Trump for $4.5Bn, standing to make a profit of over $3.5Bn” yeh no proof at all lads. You guys think extracting millions from the club is equivalent to having a line item on the financial statement titled “money siphoned out for Linda’s titles” every year
  19. How the fuck is anybody meant to fucking prove it? Both you and Dave are supposing a fucking stupid question. Do you think I’m on a tri-way WhatsApp group with Jurgen and John? Here’s the fucking proof. 36 year old James Milner being a regular midfielder for us. Us playing Rhys fucking Williams in our defense of the title we won’t after 30 years. I can go on but what’s the point, it’s like screaming into a chasm of idiocy. You, Dave and anybody else can go back to sticking your head in the sand and ignoring my posts. I’ll still be posting here like a one man army against hedge fund cunts, say hello to my little friend type vibes.
  20. He’d be amazing. And he’d have the commercial acumen to further the good work we’ve made on that front under FSG. I really don’t want state ownerships. We can actually be a tremendous investment at 4bn. A moderate to heavy investment and you have one of the 5 biggest sporting brands in the world. When the next growth surge inevitably happens (media rights), you have a 15bn+ asset.
  21. Or having a 35m defender when we had literally zero senior defenders left in the squad. Apparently that is tantamount to buying Mbappe.
  22. And so do you. If only Saudis can invest in playing squads, why are we outspent by more than half of the teams in the league since Klopp arrived here? It’s funny because I type out what I want in an owner and have know nothing cunts like you tell me I want something else. Learn to read. Jurgen is currently working under an owner who supported trump’s election campaign, tried to raise ticket prices in times of austerity, tried to use tax funded furlough schemes for a hedge fund owned business, signed up sponsors who supported the invasion of Palestine, conspired to create a super league without even fucking telling him, tried to trademark Liverpool to restrict the livelihood of local tradesman…hopefully nobody tells him!
  23. There is a spectrum. There is squeezing every fucking penny out of your sporting asset and investing in the sporting health of your asset so that it can, you know, compete in the sport it exists. Since the super league went dead, we went to the left of that spectrum. For that they can truly go and fuck themselves. I dont hate them for wanting to make a return, I hate them for being greedy cunts who know they are about to walk into billions and decided it was right to leave Klopp with no fucking defenders in 2020 and no worthy midfielders in 2022. What would have another $250m spent since 2018 have been in face of their impending profit? It would have meant more trophies for a manager who deserves them and 5-10% less profit for FSG at sale.
  24. None of this makes them good owners, it makes them good investors. You do realize that they didnt invest one fucking cent in the training ground or any of the stadium development? What has that good to do with their ownership, other than it being good decisions of a smart investor?
