It was never his decision that he left/got kicked from the Irish squad. He went awol from the national sides trainingcamp, afterwards blaming his grandmother died. When the granny resurfaced as one lively old Irish lady. Confronted with the fact of grandma stil breathing he quickly changed his story, explaining he has been misunderstood. Torres apparently did not join the team for todays training. Suppose that was the final nail in the coffin for the few of us longing to see him in pair with Suarez. Well, maybe Joe Cole or gerrard can give us a few good moments alongside Suarez then? Shirt nr 9 available for Suarez probably? I must turn the page mentally and feel good about Louis entering the stage rather than being miserabel about Torres`s lack of respect for the only important thing; LFC. May he forever walk alone.

Will Torres be forgiven if he pulls back his TR, appologises, claiming it was an act of desperation to force the club into a positive Suarez decision? And explaints this idea was brought into life based on the last transferwindows gone by without any real improvement to the squad? Or do we all hate him now what ever the finale result of this torture weekend is?

Could it be that he put the transferrequest in to put pressure on the owners so they would get their finger out and sort the Suarez deal out. Could it be that he didnt want to see another window pass by with no one of decent quality coming in the door? And finally; this would be the only story that would save his ass in the eyes of the fans should he stick around? The plan was to feel good about the Suarez signing this weekend. Instead i feel davastated. For ten minutes i was welcoming the awaygame at the bridge. What a mess. I need alcohol, lots.

Nice to see we attended the same game as i also thought Kuyt was doing quite well. Anyway, I feel better with the team going steady forward under the new coach rather than blossoming for just one or two games. I like the improving development of enthusiasm we are seeing and think, or hope rather, that the rest of the season will be a steady climb on the table.
