  1. So was Rafa sending another coded message out last week when talking about his contract knowing this was about to erupt?
  2. Liam mate. I was sat in the Anny Road end, it was the fans sat in the back rows doing the Keano and "who are ye" chants. I commented to my mates that some of the Soccer AM gang had tickets. When about 20 of us started singing the "his name's not fucking Keano", I looked at some of them and the irony was lost. They even started singing Keano back, particularly when he was subbed. Funny that when the "Shankly Boys", "Poor Scouser Tommy" and "Campione" songs started they were strangely subdued.
  3. I don't do insanity fella. Had he been backed properly and not bullshitted too about the Barry deal we would not be where we are. Don't forget at 17.10 on Wedndesday 30th July, it was nearly done. Rafa is being pushed into a corner again and he has had a fucking gutsful, surely you can see that?
  4. Some people just cannot see the bigger picture here. Rafa has been undermined the moment these bastards walked into the club. If he hadn't smoked the vermin out before Christmas we would be in a bigger financial mess than we already are. Parry is doing anything he can to protect his position (BTW someone have a quiet word with him if you see him out and about, can't believe he has got away without a hint of abuse). We now have Parry making the decisions on who Rafa should be playing on the left hand side of midfield and people are saying he is chucking his toys out of the pram. Be thankful that Ballague is letting us know the bigger picture. I notice he did not get this stick last summer when we was the only journo who called the Torres/Garcia transfer. Just remember there is only one person out of Twit & Twat, Moores, Parry & Rafa who is doing their job for the benefit of Liverpool Football Club and when that person leaves you will only have yourselves to blame that you did not stop it. What a fucking mess. BTW, Bascombe, thanks for breaking this last year but by getting into bed with Parry with that pathetic Silva "scoop" you have lost the respect of most Reds. Soul, your and sold are the words that come to mind.
  5. I must be thick as shit. I still don't get it.....
  6. Nope, page 3 was the cut off point. Trust me!
  7. Whatever it is, transfer, takeover, etc, those of us enable to receive the PM will find out in due course and should rest easy until those in the know are in a position to divulge further. Now this Holland v Italy game. What is with the colour of the Dutch socks....
  8. Could I sneak a glance too anyone?
  9. That cheered me up. For Tommy Burns & Phil O'Donnell. YNWA.
  10. Think he's waiting until the Cup Final before deciding whether to move.
  11. Now the season is over, anyone get the feeling the attention will turn to matters off the pitch now? Is there now a responsiblity on us to make the most of the last 2 games in getting our message out?
  12. From Harris in The Express (I know...) YANKS GOING HOME - GILLETT CUTS A DEAL Tom Hicks and George Gillett: Torn apart Saturday April 19,2008 By Harry Harris Liverpool’s warring American owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett could both be out of the club by the summer. Gillett has secretly agreed to sell his half stake in Liverpool to Dubai Investment Capital for a profit of £60million. And once that deal is done, it will trigger a plan to squeeze out Hicks, according to reliable City sources. I understand the English section of the Anfield boardroom, chief executive Rick Parry and former chairman David Moores, will approve the new takeover strategy. Hicks insists that Gillett cannot sell to anyone other than him, but the Daily Express has learnt that is not the whole story and instead he could almost certainly be following his one-time friend out of Anfield. And a game-plan is already in place to squeeze out Tom Hicks, giving DIC total control of the Anfield club and so end the internal war that is currently tearing Liverpool apart. The American duo could both be gone by June. The ink is not on the paper but it will be a major surprise if he doesn’t sell now. Expect knee-jerk denials but the Express has been told by reliable contacts of the ‘deal’ that will soon kick in – and that the ‘English’ section of the Liverpool board, led by chief executive Rick Parry and former chairman David Moores, will approve the new takeover strategy. My City source tells me: “George Gillett has been made a handsome offer from DIC which will yield him a substantial profit. The ink is not on the paper but it will be a major surprise if he doesn’t sell now. “There is a pre-emptive rights agreement in place – as Tom Hicks has been saying – that Gillett cannot sell to anyone other than him. But this is not strictly the case. The first-refusal option lasts 90 days and Gillett effectively set the wheels in motion at the end of February and the first-refusal rights expire at the end of May. Then we expect Gillett to sell his 50 per cent Liverpool stake to DIC for £60m and then Hicks has a big problem. DIC will raise the money for the new Anfield stadium and Hicks will be liable for a proportion of that debt, and if he cannot raise it, then there will be measures put in place to dilute his holding. “Expect the board to call for a new share issue, and Hicks will need to put up substantial sums to maintain his 50 per cent share. “The only alternative is for Hicks to somehow raise a huge amount of money to buy out Gillett, but there is no sign of it happening. And it won’t happen. “We know of a dozen institutions Hicks has been talking to and none is prepared to help him raise any money in today’s credit climate. Hicks is being hit hard at a time when the banks are just not handing out loans any more.” Liverpool carry debts of £350m so Gillett carries £175m of that. And with DIC prepared to offer £60m for Gillett’s stake it values his deal at £235m and the club as a whole at £470m. Hicks has called for Parry’s resignation but I understand that Parry will play an integral role in the new Liverpool set-up under DIC. Hicks was furious with Parry, who attempted to stop loans taken out by the Americans being loaded on to the club’s debt. Parry succeeded only for the pair to have the loans assigned to their company Kop Football Holdings – which is the parent company of the football club anyway. So the debt saddled to the club remains. Liverpool fans have grown suspicious of overseas owners but DIC’s pledge to finance the new stadium will play a major part in winning over a sceptical public
  13. Two things of note: Jockey becoming one of the first ex-players to tell the Yanks to sling their hooks and sell up to DIC. Those penalty decisions even baffled Lee Dixon!
  14. The day after the darkest day in our history. I have never detested anything or anyone in my life as much as this waste of a skin.
  15. Can't afford a PS3 either. No wonder they pulled out.
  16. Wake up and smell the coffee lads. Anyone else find it odd that Hicks did not mention this meeting during Thursday's statement. The sack Parry PR spectacularly backfired on Thursday, so to stir it up he brings up the Klinsmann meeting today and the fact that Parry was there. This in turn riles Rafa, Rafa is now gunning for Parry, Parry is gone, hen one less opponent for Hicks in the boardroom. Hicks wins. This cunt does not give a shit about who he upsets as long as he gets his own way. Time to take out that contract on him.
  17. Better tell every fucker on every LFC website. Pandemonium broke out 20 minutes ago!!
  18. That is worrying Dave. Unless you made a mistake and meant to put in DIC.
  19. What staggers me about this is where has he got the cash from? No fucker would lend it to him (unless the company is managed by ex Northern Rock directors).
  20. The signs that twat face is staying have been there for the past few days. Rafa's alliance with Hicks, Parry's arse-licking when the Chief was signed, Stevie now backing the manager, Gillett's silence to Hicks' power trip statement, the absence of updates from RAWK's Cowtown Red, Shanks Legend, YNWA's Elisha Scott, etc. (could be that they are fed up of the abuse, or the info fed to CTR and Elisha was someone's way of smoking out the leaks). I hope I'm wrong but this piece of excrement looks set to extend his unwelcome stay.
  21. Anyone wishing they could turn the clock back to last Saturday evening in the Sandon armed with what we know now....
  22. Well if it's true that the players, board members, etc hate him as much as us it's time to make this known now. The stakes have been raised if he wants 100% control.
  23. CB's not so positive now either. I hate the fat cunt more than anyone or anything in my 33 years on this planet.
