Anderson has gone all Hoggard this series and Broad has done his usual performance. But in essence England need a new opener, no 3 and no 6 Ironically I think England are still favourites when the ashes come around to England again ( unless Ashley Giles is in charge)

England's away form has been horrendous and hopefully a 4/5 - 0 lost will mean no inevitable succession for Ashley Giles I really really hope England learn and start bring through some younger players with different skill sets Flower has been like Fergie in his last years. He grinded out wins in India (against one if their worst teams ever) and won the ashes three times in a row. But has left an ageing team to face India next summer and South Africa away with a World Cup subsequently in early 2015

I am hoping for some changes on both sides for the next test Perhaps the Aussies will bring in Faulkner for Watson, anyone for Rodgers and perhaps Pattinson for Harris (needs a rest) England should replace Root, Stoke, Broad maybe injuried and perhaps 'rest' Anderson - not sure if there are as many to pick from but perhaps us the development squad

I wouldn't drop Anderson as the conditions would suit him (pitch and breeze) I'd bin off Swann and bring in Rankin as he'll have bounce and control (plus relatively new to the Aussies) Tremlet is too slow now and Finn erratic Bresnan for Stokes would be the bold move so they'll give a debut to Ballance If I was then I would be giving Robson from Middlesex (the Aussie) and either Varuna Chopra or Moen Ali (who is a good spinner) a go. I think Mills (the left armed from Essex) is too raw

Cheers Well it will be 5 - 0 I think Flower will move on (IPL) and England will get a more progressive coach like Stephen Fleming (and a better bowling coach than Saker) I met Cook once. He is a very nice bloke, although he did mention that if he got an offer he would off to the IPL in a flash I think it would good to shake up the bowling for England - perhaps Rankin and Finn for Perth

Australia are impressive but having said that they were thrashed by India recently I only rate SA at the moment in test cricket as all the other teams can't do much away from home

Was wondering if anyone could help? I am in hospital at the moment with amazingly high BP and am being treated for it. Brave changes, but the Aussies with momentum will win (also bring back Smith is a good move) The key change is the front row. I think the scrum should be more solid and with a French ref this could lead to more Lions pens It would have been great to see Manu at outside centre - but the Lions have kept him on the bench
