You're right Al, he is Rangers thru and thru and he's finally found his form again this season in what has been a shite side. What I don't agree with is going against the Manager on the pitch, he was told to play further up the field against St Mirren and deliberately stayed back. That's not on in my opinion. The thing is Le Guen would have got himself sacked sooner or later anyway, all ferguson needed to do was bide his time. I think you're right about Le Guen wanting to go PSG though.

I'm not sorry to see the back of Le Guen, but Ferguson hasn't covered himself glory to be honest. He's disobeyed tactics on the pitch and he did try to undermine the Manager. The club is a shambles at the moment and I don't see how giving McCoist and Smith the job in whatever capacity is going to help.

The thing is though our transfer budget shouldn't be a gamble. To use that logic, what's to say we wouldn't go straight into the group stages, lose every game and gain virtually no financial reward as a result. Because I guarantee they wouldn't budget for that. At the end of the day a 3rd qualifier is treated no more than a pre-season friendly by the Manager anyway, just look at the teams he's put out the last 3 years. If it was that much of a risk some of the players who played wouldn't have even got near the bench.

I must admit if this comes off then I think it will be a good bit of business, Neill can play anywhere at the back and despite what's happened at West Ham Maschereno is a very good player.

I just don't see the problem with playing the qualifiers, if we didn't have them we would probably play friendlies anyway. But that's not why I voted for 3rd place. I voted for 3rd because I don't really want that shower of shite getting any closer to our 18 titles.

If they were going to call it off for Fog they should have done it earlier. Fog can thicken and it can also thin within minutes. If there was no clear forecast that it would clear then the game should have been called off earlier. As soon as they said they were giving it another half an hour they should have given it a bit longer. What difference does it make to call the game off at 6.45pm or 7.30pm. If there was any chance of the game going ahead I'm sure all concerned would have waited a bit longer for confirmation. If they had have waited, then it would have been game on.

Exactly. The Manager should have total control over football matters at the club, from the first team to the under 9's. His policies should dominate all other at the club.
