  1. DICs for Newcastle? "Expect Newcastle to be the next port of call for DIC, who are still keen to buy a Premiership club. It has emerged that the cost of funding a new stadium at Liverpool, which would have cost them a minimum of £215million, was one of the main sticking points in their proposed £450m deal. Buying Newcastle would be a lot cheaper, with a modern ground in place and the Hall family desperate to sell their shares. Only the firm opposition of chairman Freddy Shepherd, the other major shareholder, prevented the club being sold for £227m to American hedge fund Polygon, backed by the United Bank of Switzerland, before Christmas." 4. I agree with all of this. I have been to Anfield several times now and also went to Istanbul. Most people are very welcoming, but it is one thing some cannot understand at all  Why do we support Liverpool instead of a Norwegian team? The answer is quite simple: we just love Liverpool. In October 2006 Liverpool Supporter Club Scandinavian Branch had 23.695 paying members, of which 23.052 in Norway alone. Vålerenga has the largest group of supporters of any Norwegian team at about 13,000 members. A lot of people here grew up in the 70s watching Liverpool on TV as often as possible. I have supported Liverpool since I was 5-6 years old and now I am 33. When I speak to other Liverpool supporters here in Norway allmost all know a lot about the history of Liverpool FC, the former players & managers, the trophies won, how Liverpool was founded etc. In other words, we have a great passion for the club and many of us know as much about Liverpool FCs history as many scousers. We do even sing along  Each time I visit Liverpool I feel lucky. Lucky to experience my favourite team playing, to have a good time with other Liverpoolsupporters and to be visiting a nice city with friendly people. I visit Anfield & Liverpool with pride and a great deal of respect. And I hope I will be able to for many many years ahead eventhough I am not a scouser

  9. SS: Hmm what the fuck am I doing here? Better put on a lame smile and pretend to enjoy it. Look at all those loosers in the stands. SS: Boring, boring, boring. Not even possible to get a hot-dog and a Coke in this joint. Well, I hope the halftime show rocks at least. GN: Must look mean, must look mean. Stallone is watching me. SS: What the fuck is this? A gay ballet as halftime show? Oh God, let me out of here. This if fucking awful. Look at that little ratfaced bastard trying to flex his pathetic muscles.....disgusting SS: Sorry but I must leave at once. I just recalled that the Golden Raspberry awards is tonight. My movie Rocky Balboa is the favourite in most categories so I better be there.
