    You don't rate Maxi at all, quote yourself. I think he's a good player. Great first touch, good vision, can cross a ball, works hard. I fail to see how anyone that's seen the lad play regularly can think he's a poor player.

    I partly disagree, even though I was talking about wingers, not wide players. There is a slight difference, but I totally understand your point. Babel is a forward being played out wide Jovanovic is a forward Cole and Maxi, Ok I'll class them as wide men Kuyt is a forward being played out wide

    Stating the obvious here, but Gerrard used to wear number 17 (1+7= 8 ). Shelvey being allocated number 53 is probably the same deal, as with Pacheco and number 47.
