Odris, can I be the tight end or inside line backer in your team?
Like yourselves I've been watching more college football what with ESPN this year, always kept an eye out for Michigan after my dad brought me back a pair of Wolverines boxer shorts that he got off some girl at an airport back in the day.
Reading that back it sounds a lot more dodgy than it probably actually was...
The Joe Theismann leg break happened the first season I started watching the NFL, couldn't get over how many times they repeated the footage of it, really freaked me out.
Yeah it was a great game, I remember my dad got it on video from some subscription company that sent out videos of NFL games back in the 80's. If I hadn't of already decided to follow the Dolphins I think watching Fouts in that game would have sealed the deal for me. I'd love to have a beard like Fouts...
Just to buck the trend, I liked the dark blue one better. Always had a soft spot for the Chargers, they sent me a media guide after I sent them a begging letter back when I first got into the NFL back in 85.
You can get the old model of the PS3 here consoles gaming :: Category :: Buy It Here for a lot cheaper than retail or even second hand prices. I got mine from this site, the box had a bit of damage but the console itself was brand new.
It says sold out at the minute but if you check back regularly they get stock in every few days.
Love the Pixies but that does seem a short show, saw them at the Brixton Academy and the Leeds festival and they did about an hour and three quarters each time if I remember right. They were playing the whole of Doolittle right?
I'm the same, I need Tom Brady to get like 400 yards and 9 TDs to pull me back into this week.
Bit of a conflict though as I hate him and the Patriots.
Sorry for the stupid question, can we sub our bench players in for players that have played a game? For example could I play Matt Schaub on Sunday and then put Tom Brady in for Monday? The rules say you can if the league you're in allows that but I can't see anything on ours to say if it does or doesn't.
Kiss are great, Revenge was a really overlooked record, it has God Gave Rock n Roll to You on it for fucks sake, if that doesn't make it a classic nothing will.
I've just registered (I'm the Phantom Ennis), hopefully I've done my draft order properly and don't end up with total bums on my team. Cheers for setting up the league.
Saw them at Download last night, absolutely immense, Mike Pattons voice gets better and better every year. One of those bands like The Pixies that I never thought I'd see live, they played a really good mix from the various albums (including Cukoo for Caca) although no Small Victory, Digging The Grave or Falling to Pieces. Well worth the trauma of getting to the front.
Could only get down to Download for the Friday but made up that's the day Faith No More are playing, one of my favourite bands and I never thought I'd see them live.
