  1. Well imho they are not. If they were the Vikings would have won a bloody SuperBowl by now!
  2. Won't be able to attend the draft :( But hopefully my pre-ranking will get me a few good players. Pdool: Packers are a good team, but Rodgers is gonna run for his life again :P
  3. Just incase somebody wondered: Yes I'm happy Favre is back! Plan for the NFL-season: Revenge against the Saints (taking out Brees and Sharper in the process). Beat the Packers (and most other teams) again. Win the NFC North and get the #1 seed. Dispose of Cowboys and... whoever and go to the Superbowl. Win that god damn thing! ...yeah, probably gonna end up 10-6 and loose the wild-card game...
  4. Well odris, your Bills could go for Sage Rosenfels. Looks like the Vikings are putting him in the shopping-window...(yes, of course Favre will be back! :))
  5. Hm, I'd like to take part this year too, but that draft-date fucks it up :(
  6. Well, good luck for the rest of the draft Odris :) Got to hit the bed or tomorrow will be hell! Fingers crossed Vikings get a QB with their next pick (1-2 year(s) to watch Favre and then start :)
  7. Damn. Kindle went now?! I thought he was off the board long ago.
  8. Strange they didn't take Clausen I think. Not to happy with Vikings picking up Cook either, but we'll have to wait and see how it pans out I guess. Really wanted Price, Mays, McCoy or Clausen.
  9. Best 1st round: Lions Worst: Jags (and a WTF-notice for Denver too) Odris: Think you and other Buffalo-fans are gonna be really pleased with Spiller. Huge playmaker!
  10. Maybe Clausen could fall to the Vikings instead? :) But I guess the bloody Steelers could be looking for a QB too... Really looking forward to get this draft underway now!
  11. When do you think Tebow will go? Have a feeling Vikings could take him (if there) at #30, now that they signed CB Lito Sheppard. Kind of hope they take DT Brian Price myself. (One mock (ESPN?) even had Mike Iupati falling to #30. Now that would be fucking great!)
  12. 1. Rams - QB S. Bradford 2. Lions - DT N. Suh 3. Bucs - DT G. McCoy 4. Skins - OT T. Williams 5. Chiefs - OT R. Okung So the same 5, just a slight different order. Oh and... 30. Vikings - CB D. McCourty (or QB J. Clausen :|)
  13. Gerrard and Rush (if you count penalties-shootouts)
  14. Hm, was thinking "I hope the Colts defence do to Brees, what Saints did to Favre [pile on, hits to the knees]" but I guess it's just sour grapes from the Championship game... Colts vs Saints 34-27
  15. Fuck, that Vikings loss hurt. Worst of all is that I think this was "our" shot at the SB for a long, long time. (God knows if it will be the Minnesota Vikings next time they play in the Championship game :() Even if Favre play next season, I can't imagine him putting up the same numbers as he did this year. (My heart says "Come back Brett!"; head says "think of your family and health man! You have done your share.") And I'm starting to have second thoughts about Peterson. Hell of a RB but you've got to protect the football! Everybody fumbles the occasional time, but come on... With some FAs probably leaving and maybe a couple of retires (Pat Williams?), the Vikings will have plenty of holes to plug. EDIT: Btw, good luck to the Colts and Saints (don't care who wins it really)
  16. I would like to say bonehead, but Favre has done so many good things for the Vikes this season... Can't fault him really
  17. Please walk down the field and kick a winning FG! :)
  18. Fuck me! Don't know if I can take it anymore...
  19. Saints strikes right back. Damn! Nervous as hell! Go Vikings!
  20. Indianapolis vs New York Jets 28-17 (having picked against the Jets the two previous games, I will continue to do so :) New Orleans vs Minnesota 31-34 (Longwell nails the winning FG from 52 yards in OT)
  21. Kind of agree with you on this one, but then again I think it was more a "fuck you" too all the media and "experts" who didn't think the Vikings had a chance (at home, where they were 8-0 in the reg season!) But I agree as I would have been pissed off had it been the other way around
  22. And btw neko: Nobody fumbles like Tony Romo!
