Exactly. The big flaw in the system (which enrique tried and failed to do at roma), is that with such a slow build up, it gives the opposition time set up their defensive shape. We don't have the quality of spain or barca to be able to break teams down. But for me carroll lacks game intelligence and doesn't get himself in good positions often enough. He's a very limited footballer who we should be looking to sell this summer if we can.

Don't know if its because he's older or if its because he can't run as much anymore, but gerrard seems a lot more disciplined playing in the middle now. He's been awesome this tournament and has practically carried this England team. With him and Lucas in the middle things are looking good for us next season.

Well he may struggle you know. I mean he can only play LB, RB, LM, CM, RM and as a second striker, so he's not very adaptable.

Not interesting at all, in fact i think he will find it pretty easy. He's never struggled to adapt to any other system that he's played in. Players like agger, lucas, gerrard and suarez can play in any system. Its the rest i worry about, especially carroll, adam, henderson and downing.

Brendan Rodgers is eager to make the Iceland international his first capture as Anfield boss and*Reds officials were yesterday believed to be negotiating a price for the midfielder*with the German club. Hoffenheim are understood to have quoted Liverpool more than the 9 million euros (around £7m) fee Swansea had agreed*for the former Reading man.

I thought he was found innocent of that? Either way the fact is redknappy hasn't ruined any clubs, the owners have. managers always want more and more money, but its up to the owners to stop it. Same thing happened to leeds under O'Leary, he just wanted more and more and they kept on giving it to him gambling on champions league. Don't they have like a 25 year loan they took out gambling on the gate receipts or something like that. Fact is though the owners fuck up. Levy has said no and have parted ways.

The spurs fans THINK they are THAT big a club. Any of them that i know don't give a crap about domestic cups and think the club should only be focussing on champions league and winning the league. They've been doing well these last few years and their ego has grown big time. Enough of them agreeing with levy saying how 'arry has taken them as far as he could and they need a top manager to take them to the next level of winning the title. Absurd i know, but trust me they don't care about the cups.

The days of success being about trophys are long gone. yeah for the fans it will always be there, but for clubs and the people that run them its about money pure and simple. They don't give two fucks about the trophy but the money it brings. Even if King kenny had won the FA cup he still would have been sacked as the americans want champions league ahead of two domestic cups. Arsenal have won the square root of fuck all for years but it doesn't matter because arsenal are in the champions league every year and are one of the few clubs that are in black. Its about money pure and simple. 'arry didn't deserve the sack at all because he got them into the champions league and would have again this year if it wasn't for chelsea winning the thing. he's done a great job and definitely won't have any problems getting another one.

Hope they do go for Martinez or moyes as they both aren't good enough and will send the club backwards. Martinez doesn't know how to defend and moyes plays awful football which the fans will hate. Both managers have teams that don't start playing til the second half of the season. I think levy has fucked up. Whether you like him or not arry had spurs up there every season.

He maybe lightweight now but strength is something you can build up over time. The guy has amazing talent and will definitely succeed if given time.
