  1. Was chatting with a few mates of mine around Europe and they can't see it on their teles either so I think a stream may be hard to come by. Instead of showing this sky are showing Wycombe vs Huddersfield. :wallbutt:
  2. Disappointing game. On the positive side, it highlights areas for improvement and hopefully in this window we can make a start at fixing some of these issues. Looking at it from a negative point of view, some of our players are currently as useful as a cock flavoured oven glove. This needs to change.
  3. Based on the small amount you have told me I'd expect that you would (if taken on) be at academy level. This would mean you would be working at running the summer program and doing work on the pre-season prep for the academy teams. Email me some details over mate and I will have a read through, then we can chat more with more facts rather than me having to guess your experience etc. Speak soon mate, Best of luck with your current team. p.may@smallerearth.com
  4. Here mate Soccer Coaching Experience - Hungary | Hungary | Volunteering | Smaller Earth That will go through the office who will check it all over. Then it gets passed on to me to do interviews and then I make the decisions. Keep me posted and/or email me if you need any help mate. It will go to google ads end of this month so I wanted to put it on here and twitter first as I like people off here (plus your reds :) ) if you email me some details over, I can keep an eye out for your application. Same goes for the rest of you applying. p.may@smallerearth.com
  5. Hahaha fucking awesome shout! I'd made the connection before, he's the spit !!!
  6. He wasn't the best player for us, but Istvan Kozma is a good academy coach and friend of mine over at Vasas. Very friendly guy. Those working at Vasas will get to meet and work with him. I went back to visit in October, was much colder. Name dropping, sorry :)
  7. Hello, first off, I haven't been to the states mate so can't comment. All I can say is that I know experience in Europe is much more respected from other European teams more so that the US. We have two levels of coaches, I created it like this so that if someone has not been able to do their badges as can so often be the case, they are not ruled out. This is based on potential and being the right person. Therefore, if you have coaching badges, you may not get a place, and if you dont have them, you may well do. I will meet the applicants, interview and then there are a few things we do to see what sort of coach you are now and could be. I had only coached amateur youth football before going out, I impressed whilst I was out there and was offered an academy position which I turned down, I wasn't ready to move out there full time. I did however want to run the management side of the program and thankfully the company agreed. We only had one last year and 6 coaches, this year we have much more, and different levels. I am very excited about the summer and I am already working hard on both the coaches and the new clubs for following years including Italy, Spain and Portugal. How did you find the states mate? We decided for now to stay in Europe for the reasons I mentioned before and that it is much cheaper for coaches. Our company own camp america so we already know what the states can offer and we are very happy to be working in Europe when it comes to Football. Thats not to say that the states dont have a lot to offer, just that we feel we are better off working in Europe at this moment in time. Did that answer your questions? You can drop me a line if you would like more info, could send a few things over?
  8. Consistent. Would be an interesting shout, for the right price.
  9. Top football clubs and training grounds. Shit load of cheap priced (but expensive tasting) Rum All the jelly beans you can eat. 80p pints. Hot sun, hotter girls. Just get on with it haha. What are you waiting for? Playing the waiting game is my job. It is a great place to go, I love Hungary a lot. Have a soft spot for a few teams out there after visiting. You can learn so much and have a blast at the same time. 3 of us got jobs out of it too (only 5 went) I wanted to go for the program management side and make it bigger and better for all. The others, one is now working at Birmingham fc and the other stayed in Hungary at the Vasas.
  10. In 35 to 45 degree heat daily? I'd suggest not. Forgot to mention a bit more about Hungary. Here are my fave bits; (got to go to Balaton sound which was awesome too. Google it of you don't know what I'm on about :) ) Fit girls EVERYWHERE! Awesome bars and clubs. How does 80p for a good pint grab ya? Ace food! Great football clubs, training grounds and people. 8/10 adults speak English. English people are loved out there, not to mention when they find out you are with the clubs you are like a mini celeb. Last summer I got, free drinks, guest lists, tables at awesome restaurants etc. I love this place. Been back twice since and will be there all summer again this coming year. Can't wait!
  11. I have a very good relationship with the guys at Debrecen. Lovely team and great training ground. Any questions mate, message me on here or email p.may@smallerearth.com
  12. Sadly not mate. We already have English teachers out there. 3 good friends of mine from England now live out there and work full time as teachers. If you are being serious, then I am more than happy to keep you in mind if a position opens up?
