Part of the discussion was inevitably about whether it would be more difficult for a British footballer to come out and the tribalistic nature of fans was part of the answer as to why it would be. I'm offering a poll - which is purposefully private so that people can put forward their true feelings about this - just to see what a typical selection of footie fans think. Birds of a Feather - seriously, has there ever been a laugh in this show? 3 Middle ages women sit around a kitchen table moaning about men and the menopause. This was ironic because that was exactly the audience who watched it. Last of the Summer Wine - I never, ever laughed at this. There must have been something in it for it to have been going on for such a length of time but the sight of someone going down a hill in a bathtub never even raised a titter from my lips The Brittas Empire - Terrible acting, terrible settings, terrible show. A comedy set in a Gym/Fitness centre could've had all sorts of hilarious scenarios every week. But instead it was Rimmer acting a twat The Thin Blue Line - I had the misfortune to watch this once or twice. I gathered that there was a camp copper (Officer Goodie) who made such comments as "Ooo I'll put him into custody!" and "Leave the handcuffs to me!" Gimme Gimme Gimme - She's a woman. He's a gay. They're both looking for the ideal man. This show also containing officer Goodie mentioned above and he pretty much just played the same character without a uniform on. Any more?
