Today I stroked a cheetah and gave grapes to a woman begging at traffic lights. Both were rewarding, but both things should never have actually happened? What a fucking amazing place this is though! Will report back when I can. What do you lot reckon?

Just been slapped with a £30 fixed penalty (code 214 whatever the fuck that is) for parking in the same place I do every day outside work along with countless other drivers. I was parked half on the road half on the verge, like I do every day and as do dozens of other drivers. How can I appeal against this? Is there a reasonable chance I can successfully appeal against the bastards?

I took my parents to Formby yesterday for a celebratory meal for my uncle's 70th birthday. My dad is 75 and has difficulty walking far and has a disabled blue badge,I also had an uncle in the car who is older than my dad at 77 and in much worse shape than him too. We parked behind the shops,a parking place called the cloisters,in the disabled space and clearly displayed both a time clock and the disabled blue badge on the front dashboard inside the windscreen. Went for a lovely meal in a place called the gallery in formby village and a couple of hours later some fucking little hitler had given me a ticket for 'not clearly displaying a valid ticket/permit.' I took photos on my phone of the car and the badges displayed as well as the parking signs and have sent the ticket back,with no money and stating I want to contest the ruling as per their 14 day rule. This car park is run by some company in sheffield and not Formby council according to the small print. Any ideas on where and how I stand,good people of the GF?
