The economics of football is bad business unless youre Milan Mandaric, who used to snap up clubs on the cheap, take on their debt and turn them around using a half decent manager and having a decent go at promotion in the championship.
Liverpool isnt a club that can be bought for cheap because there is an embedded brand value that other clubs like city dont have so that will be a barrier. Other than that, you couldnt imagine the arabs coming in and renaming Anfield to something like the Saudi Royal Stadium and rebranding the business. Too much history to be toyed with
FSG have done a solid job by reducing the debt by 200m.

One of the my housemates showed me a picture of him 3 years ago. Guy was standing at 120kg and is now your average lad.....you couldnt tell he was a big guy. Told me he got fed up of being fat before his college started and would wake up every morning and go on 1.5 hr walk without any breakfast. He'd listen to revision notes but you can swap for music or books. The biggest challenge was diet but when youre up at 8 to walk a mile or two, you learn to get your shit together. Helped his metabolism massively

I took a quiz on who I should vote for and the difference between labour and cons was tiny. Same show, different puppet. I'd vote lib dems if clegg wasnt such a fucking monkey wrench. One of the reasons I was working 25 hours a week while studying because tuition and living in London is ruining me.

Perhaps the debate isn't really where he should play, but which games he should play in....
To my mind there's two ways to manage decline:
1) Play in a new position that's less demanding
But does such a position really exist in the PL?
2) Play in your traditional position, but less often
Trouble with this is that it breaks continuity, but given that squad rotation's fairly commonplace in top teams, this seems like a better option to me.
Thinking something similar and I hate to say this but what the cunts did with Scholes and Giggs

They won't take any action until threatened by ISIS. Turkey would roll in and crush ISIS if attacked. Iran and Egypt are also capable of wiping out ISIS or at least severely weakening them but won't do anything until ISIS start invading their territory.
But isn't the threat imminent? Presence in Syria and Iraq. If they decide to grow another pair and attack the Kurds, thats on Turkey's front. Iran = shias and if there is anything ISIS hate more than bacon its shias.

I always saw Floyd Mayweather Vs Manny Pacquiao as a "best before 2010" but "use by 2011" - it would have been the greatest event in sports history in 2010, but it still would have fucking rocked in 2011. I like Floyd, I'm a huge fan - but I hope both are exiled from the HOF for robbing the fans of something more than a fight, a complete mega event.

Longtime lurker but first time poster. So im heading off to uni in just under 3 weeks time and want to find a good pub or bar where I can watch games.
This probably sounds weird but if I dont come across many liverpool supporters at uni, i'd like to go somewhere with some solid supporters. Any ideas?
