  1. If we cant compete why worry about VAR, or any kind of meddling? I truly admire your optimism, genuinely.
  2. Once Klopp has gone its over. finished. We will be also rans like we where before he arrived. I think a lot of people have forgotten just how bad we were under FSG pre Klopp. The guy is a miracle worker. If our ownership cant back one of the best Managers in world football now, when we've been raking in top tv rights and record competition prize money, one that could walk into any job in the world, then they sure as hell won't be backing a lesser manager who won't be able to achieve those things.
  3. You basically painted me as someone who puts human rights issues behind football transfers. So, seeing as you are not like that, please give me a list of the initiatives you are currently undertaking to tackle those issues. I'll wait. A long time.
  4. Its actually pretty logical. If the only thing left that keeps you in the game is the club and that club is owned by people who'd rather invest in a chain of hotels and infrastructure then whats left? Once Jurgen goes who has at least a semblance of the Clubs traditional spirit its practically over.
  5. So you have two years left then? And thats not if this season doesn't go west BTW. If you think Jurgen is immune to criticism think again, they will be on him like a pack of wolves if we have another season like last.
  6. Oh don't worry you won't. You can keep playing your little loyal terrier routine to the Club.
  7. Read my fucking post again. I swear you are trolls. It's in there its listed. The ownership is the crowning turd on the dunghill. What do you lot do for human rights causes? Please list them thanks.
  8. Oh please just fuck off you sanctimonious twat. I mean it fuck off.
  9. One thing you can all be glad about is if we go into the season undercooked from these owners again I’m done. As most people have said they are on the edge of walking away and I have been for a while. It’s bad enough with the sports washing, corruption and meddling of the game, but having tight fisted owners who constantly leave the manager fighting fires in the pursuit of their own wealth is the thing that totally sucks away what little enjoyment I have left. I was expecting big things this summer for once and it’s been pretty mediocre so far as in we simply haven’t done near enough for the turnover happening within the squad. I’ve seen more depth in a puddle.
  10. They flogged Henderson because of his wages. Money should be no object now.
  11. If that’s the case expect a struggle.
  12. Thats where good scouting and analytics come to the fore. But I don't think its been there recently like it was previous.
  13. Horseshit. Price trumps everything with the owners more like. We wouldn't have Mac All-star if he was £70 million plus. or we certainly wouldn't have Dom in too. My point has always been and never will change from this: Back the manager. We have a World Class Manager and we are one of the elite Clubs on the planet. If he wants Bellingham, Mac Allister, Slob and Lavia because thats what he thinks will make us successful, go out and get them and give him the best chance of success. If he wanted Harry Maguire, Conor Gallagher, Mason Mount and bloody Gravenberch, go and get them. It doesn't matter who the players are or the cost. Instead, we spend like we are out shopping trying to feed a family of four on a budget. Thats what boils my brains. "You can have the chicken dippers or have a dessert kids, but you cant have both"
  14. There you go! Thats why it would be genuinely hilarious if they did it again.
  15. So you don't recall any examples where our owners left us high and dry?
  16. As someone who looks at past trends you should see my point.
  17. I'd laugh so hard if we sold these two and then bought no one. It would genuinely be hilarious!
  18. Again its hedging your bets. I think a lot of you are underestimating the demands on the team in the Europa League. Its a bloody slog fest and a drain on resources until the very late rounds. That second XI will be dumped on its arse in the Europa, and lets be honest thats the type of team, maybe even worse with more kids, that Jurgen will field in that comp. We are an elite team. We should have the resources to fill the bench with a level of quality that we need, not relying on Lady Luck for injuries with a manager who demands more from his players than practically any coach in the league.
  19. To be fair mate we knew those two would be out of the door sooner rather than later anyway, if not now definitely next summer, so we should just go and get their replacements.
  20. Exactly, which is why you should be proactive first. Henrys probably agonising over the spreadsheet at this very moment.
  21. Its got nothing to do with that at all. If the team performs poorly again, I think even Jurgen might reconsider his position. You can damn well rely on the owners having a look at it too, especially if it starts threatening their earnings long term. Never underestimate anything in football.
  22. Funnily enough im not that negative. Im only negative when we are owned by money grabbing Americans who have no love for the sport or our heritage in winning the biggest prizes. John Smith had no interest in the spreadsheet. Back when Rushy left there was no immediate panic because we had footballing men at the helm who knew what they were doing and a board that backed them to win. They could have just bought Aldridge but they went two better. Then they bought Houghton. Thats showing you mean business. Everton were soon knocked back down to earth.
