  1. If it was just greed they wouldn't bother with the persecution of those on benefits. Plus to announce measures to punish poor people whilst simultaneously giving huge amounts of money to those at the top makes it hard to look at it any other way. They've had three months of continuous stories and information on how the bottom twenty percent are facing destitution because of the cost of living yet they offered absolutely nothing yesterday to help those suffering. To rub it in they announced curbs on striking workers. The term does sound a bit over dramatic and 'trendy lefty' but the evidence all points towards this set of Tories indeed waging a class war.
  2. Haha steady, in defence of Ronnie he certainly rattled the crossbar.
  3. Turns on TV to see Labour treasury spokeswoman making a cunt of himself when asked softball questions on the top rate of tax and bankers bonuses. Im sure those bankers and premier league football players breathed a welcome sigh of relief. The spineless jellyfish party.
  4. The Labour Party did not kick out Naiomi Winbourne Adrissi because simply because she's Jewish (nice Jewish new year present for her though), as with the others who've been expelled it seems they've been kicked out because they are left wing and their veiws do not chime with hierarchy. Yet some absolute ghouls were protected by the same hierarchy after sending appalling messages to other Labour members, as shown in the Al Jazzera doc... Ah well it seems the weaponisation of Jewish people to slur anything and anyone to do with Jeremy Corbyn is alive and kicking. A discredeited trick to be continously pulled from the hat.
  5. We attack Tories alright. Nip over the Truss thread. I multi task. Anyway the offer has been rejected, how sad. "Liberal centre right" Reading through that thread their are an awful lot of disgruntled Tories tonight.
  6. And some people tell you "they're all the fucking same". Labour MP to Thersa May's former chief of staff. Make sure you bring some of your austerity and 'go home migrant' vans with you Gavin. They kicked out that democratically elected Jewish woman only yesterday. The English Labour Party is embarrassing.
  7. It's not unreasonable to have the shadow chancellor and leader of the Labour Party to point out how unjust and unfair these tax cuts for the super wealthy (the approx 45 grand per year saving for every rich individual is more than a nurses annual salary) are and promise to reverse them. They have to draw a line in the sand, workers in our NHS are using food banks. As above. Their is no excuse.
  8. Yeah all good points. I'd prefer Burhman as leader but it's not going to happen, he's not an MP. It's the wishy washy shit like below that gets my goat with Starmer/Reeves..
  9. Oh I don't know, the Tories are there to be put away, they're a mess. This is their fourth leader in six years, and the majority of their own mps preferred someone else. Even their own support base is confused. They are acting like kids caught robbing a candy shop scoffing down as many sweets as possible before the police arrive.
  10. Sad but unfortunately very true.
  11. The dreaded Corbs/McDonnell first budget was fully costed but the beeb had reporters sitting in an imaginary money tree whenever it was discussed. Fast forward, the trees left everyone's lips.
  12. Nicky Clegg let em in, for a ride in a ministerial car and a five penny charge on plastic shopping bags.
  13. Zack's one of the best young politicians about. He puts people like Wes Streeting to shame The green party have not had a representative on BBC questiontime for four months.
  14. I haven't heard the "magic money tree" term once today.
  15. Bollocks. Austerity ruined this country and killed thousands upon thousands. This government is about to do the same. It's a look over there argument anyway. This mess is 100% down to the Conservative government not our leaving the EU
  16. I fear MacCay is right. Brown's a colossus but the split feels inevitable now.
  17. Says man who's party propped up the man who gave us austerity and a referendum.
