Yes, same. I recently picked up Crash Nitro Fuelled Racing and it might even be better than Mario Kart. I think it was reduced to £14.99, a steal. Only thing that puts me off burnout paradise is it is an old game and may be better on other platforms.

Yeah Crash is brilliant - I bought it on sale last Christmas for about £22. I had the original on PSone which I loved, then got the follow up on PSP but that was never as good as it had some exploration element. I've played the original on emulators and was made up when they rereleased it.

I'm not sure it's quite as good as Mario Kart but it's close. Another great Kart game was Sonic and Sega Racing on the Wii (the commentary is great). I've got the follow up on the Vita but it's not as good.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a general population so ambivalent to so many deaths.

It's crazy. Hundreds of people dying every day. But it's ok, cos it's not 000s, seems to be the rationale.

Oh well, schools back to normal in 5

     days...

Back pain has to be one of the most debilitating 'non-serious' conditions out there. I have broken bones and torn ligaments before and I would honestly take 2 broken legs right now if it meant I could get off this hell ride where I dont know when I'm going to end up bedridden for no good reason. I messed up my back about 6 weeks ago and it was slowly getting better until I coughed while brushing my teeth today. I can now barely walk and have spent all day calling everyone under the sun a cunt. Behaviour that passes for normal over on the FF but funnily enough doesnt go down too well in the office.

Nightmare mate, sorry to hear about it. For what it's worth my advice would be to try and get on top of the agony with painkillers, keep moving and if you're getting nowhere see a good physio - they can be worth their weight in gold.

Is it worth the asking price? At £30 it was definitely a no.

I think I got it for £12 digital - worth it for that.

I rarely buy games full price - probably Mario Kart was the last one I did.

Had Johnson on mine as well, changed the boring get to Jo Wiley last week and then had to change back as she was doing my head in.

Worse than the mrs talking at me.

I'd let Jo Whiley whisper into my ear.

  6. Tried playing the Cloud version of Hitman 3 on the Switch - was a mess. Probably more to do with my average broadband than anything. The internet in this country is shite, and I can't see cloud gaming as a major thing for a few years.

I’ve seen Legends matches with more intensity than this Leicester match. Lockdown footy is so shit. The pundits must be happy that the clownish and corrupt referees are providing something for them to blather on about.

No - I heard an advert on the radio before for Now TV / Sky Sports saying it was an exciting title race.

    Yeah, sure.

I used to like this but watched it again the other night and it was so fucking slow. A great 90 minute film.

Not for me mate. It's an epic - a story about a group of friends in a working class town, their lives, some going off to war, others staying behind and getting on with their lives; then the war itself, escaping capture, living in Vietnam; then the return to USA - I mean, there's a lot to pack in! Not sure it could be done over 90 minutes. It's a long film - it needs that time to develop a story, for characters to grow (or not), and for years to pass. I'm not sure the Deer Hunter could be done in 90 minutes.

I'd say that the wedding scene is too long - but then what is too long? I had a morning to myself, knew how long the film was and settled in knowing largely what to expect.

But, generally, yes, a lot of films are too long when most could be boxed off in 90 minutes. I think it might be a modern thing where studios think the longer a film is the more serious it is.

I agree, although who do you replace them with? Seems like virtually all of these fellas are absolutely power mad, egotistical, arrogant twats.

Getting of Riley and replacing him with Dean or someone like that is pointless really.

Just get one of those dunking bird things that Homer uses on his work computer - it'll do a better job than VAR currently.

After The Goldrush is a terrific album of the time and still is, if in the mood, for those that just didn't know.

I'm not slagging off the Pet Shop Boys but have they actually recorded an album like that and should they be anywhere near a best album shoot out?

    Nien.

Maybe people are voting for what they like? I don't like Neil Young's voice, personally.
