Of course they're not mutually exclusive, I think everyone I know who is into their music holds The Beatles in high regard.

Are your top three albums of all time by The Beatles though?

The older I get, the more I find the idea of having a top three or top ten albums a bit daft as there are constantly new things to discover & whatever I'm listening to a lot at that time would be my favourite.

I have a varied and interesting music palate - it's not just the Beatles - I also like Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Merseybeats, Billy J Kramer, Freddie and the Dreamers - it's a pretty electric mix of styles I think you'll agree!

I think it's just the way the voting works, I would be surprised if anyone on here said their top 3 or 4 albums of all time personally were all Beatles albums. If they did, I would suggest they might want to broaden their horizons a bit.

That is coming from someone who absolutely loves The Beatles.

I don't think loving Beatles albums and having broad horizons are mutually exclusive. Maybe they just like the Beatles more than other artists?

Now don’t get me wrong, I own at least one copy of every album the Beatles released (4 different copies of the white album). But as a Yorkshire man I can’t help but feel the bands ties to the city are skewing the voting on this, and I think that’s why people are dropping away it’s pretty obvious the final is going to be an all Beatles vote. With the best will in the world the Beatles didn’t produce the 3 or 4 greatest albums ever.

You think the best selling and most famous band in the history of music are doing well in this tournament because it's Liverpool? Can't agree - I'd say it's because they're the best selling and most famous band in history.

We moved in to our new house in August & had our kitchen done up shortly after we moved in, bumped into a boy outside & his questioning went...

    Settling in ok?

How much did you get the house for?

That kitchen must have been expensive?

I told him how much we got the house for as you can find that out online anyway but was pretty taken aback & danced around the kitchen question. Trying to be friendly though as I'd just moved in.

Two weeks ago we were coming home with the kids from a walk & he stopped us in the street & starting going on about how much we'd been spending on the house. At that point, I started to think 'This guy is a complete cunt' then today we had a guy come round to give us a quote to pave our front garden & while we were talking with him, nosey bollocks walks past & goes, 'Spending more money are we?'.

If I wasn't standing there with a complete stranger & my missus, he would've been told to fuck right off. Cunt has properly wound me up today.

Biggest laugh is none of it is even our money & we'll be paying the bank back for the next 25 years for all this pish.

    He sounds mental.

Ill take the points, but boy are we poor. Never seen such shoddy passing and control. And that last few minutes were Traore walked around our players as they did their keystone cops routine...goodness me.

Yeah I thought we were quite poor, although I did have a dream we got beat 10 nil by Chelsea last night so that might be clouding my judgement.

Why is it that we labour and huff and puff to get through teams, and they just seem to run in straight lines towards our goal while everyone panics? Is it because we only have a midfield 3?

    Could be 2 + 2 = 5 but...

    Yeah maybe. We'll see!

Plenty of life in the Switch for a few years yet I think. The sales figures in Japan are nuts. I'm looking forward to BOTW 2 and might bite the bullet for that. Interesting to see what Nintendo can grind out of the Switch after a few years experience programming for it.

Popped up on my phone that Sarah harding only has months left to live she's only 39. Christ life is preciously short all people seem to care about is stoking hate, arguing, tearing each other apart. This girl is just thinking about filling her hours with as much happiness as she can while she can.

    Yeah that's terrible.

Girls Aloud were fucking great as well.

  8. Had to bury my Grandma yesterday. She was getting on (88) but if it wasn't for Covid she'd almost certainly still be here as she'd settled into a nice little life, so it's absolutely gutting. Still not sure how she contracted it but it's moot now I suppose. She'd actually had her first jab before Christmas but it still knocked seven bells out of her and her body just couldn't cope.

It was also cruel not being able to have a wake, obviously many people have been in the same boat over the past year.

I'm just back in work after 6 weeks off with post-Covid trouble. Have to queue outside my kids school surrounded by cunts who don't bother to wear masks. Fucking bell ends. No fucking shame, any of them.
