  1. Those stupid bloody phrases they are using to sell their "Warrior" shirts and kits. "We come not to play" "May we be gods" or whatever the stupid sayings are. Things are embarrasing enough on and off the pitch at the moment without those idiotic phrases bringing even more ridicule on the team.
  2. Here we go again. No wonder other fans call us deluded.Kenny was quoted on more than one occasion admitting the signings were his choices. This blind loyalty does Kenny or the club no favours at all.He made several bad,and very costly, signings that we will take a fair while to recover from.Rodgers has very little room to manoeuvre in the Transfer Market because of Kenny's folly.
  3. Confirmation that Rodgers thinks what a lot of us do(but few will admit) that Dalglish's dreadful Transfer Strategy has left us in a financal mess, that will take us a year or two to recover from.
  4. Our good mate Brian and his nephew ( two proper redmen) had a good go there tonight. I don't think Tim Vine wanted our boys to win any money, like.
  5. Because the Crown Prosecution Service are still studying the tape after claims of one of the biggest robberies ever on a Football Pitch! My God, we were so lucky that day-although some on here think we have never had a lucky game or the benefit of awful refereeing decisions in our entire history.
  6. Apart from Agger for Coates, and Shelvey for Lucas,I would start with the same team that played against City for the Arsenal game. I would play all the subs from Sunday together with our new signing against Hearts, and a few fringe players. Unless we manage to offload some of those expensive flops from last weeks City bench before the deadline of course.
  7. Well Rodgers has definitely been lurking on here.Brave selections, giving the youngsters a chance and leaving the dross and has beens on the bench. We deserved a win, the most annoying aspects of yesterdays game being that we scored two beautiful goals against the League Champions yet gave them two goals they never deserved with defensive mistakes. All we need now is to see most of Kenny's bad buys offloaded and the funds given to Brendan to sign proper players.
  8. We need to be brave and go for this-we saw the frailties they had at the back last week(I know we had ours, but that was after we were down to ten men). I would rather lose having a go at them ,than playing a tight game and an inevitable 1-0 defeat. They, and other top clubs, have shit themselves at Anfield in recent years when we have gone at them from the start.Let's see if Rodgers is brave enough,or if he is another Hodgson in the making.
  9. Sad news that, and not long after the brave Gary Ablett. I am sure all football fans will wish him all the best for a speedy recovery.
  10. Tonights game at Woodison. An Everton team full of has beens(Neville,Gibson,Howard) and local old age pensioners (Osman and Hibbert) deservedly beat Man united with a starting eleven that cost less than our Subs bench against WBA on Saturday. Says a lot about desire and commitment.Never mind about us competing for a top four finish,I fear that they will finish comfortably above us this season.
  11. And it's banal replies like this that make us appear like whinging fans who think the whole football world is against us.The first was a penalty and therefore a sending off,the second probably not.Believe it or not,we have had the odd decision in our favour over they years. It seems like you can't criticise or be objective these days without appearing to be a traitor to the cause.Open your eyes and your mind lads, and yes have a word with yourselves.
  12. Hardly touched? So you mean he was touched. Any push in the back when running at pace will knock you over. We would have been screaming for a pen and a red card if it had happenned to Suarez.
  13. Somebody once said "You win nothing with kids". I suggest you win nothing when you have a substitutes bench that cost about £70 million ,( and is probably only worth half of that) and seem to find it funny watching those picked ahead of them getting beat.No leadership on or off the pitch, and no respect either. There needs to be a radical change from top to bottom, and I am not sure it will happen with these owners, this Management set up,or these over priced, mollycoddled journeymen. Our club resembles The Liverpool Pathway at the moment-not the Liverpool Way.
