Downing doesnt run down and beat three men though does he. He run 40 yards with the ball, comes up against a defender, turns back around, and plays it back. Downing cost 20M yet I would rather two 30+ free signings in Maxi and Bellers started ahead of him.

Yes, utterly stupid to assume that a 20M could get either a goal or an assist, but its everyone elses fault he has, just like its everyone elses fault that Carroll doesnt score. So which is it, Carroll isnt getting the service from Downing or Carroll isnt scoring from Downings fantastic service. Btw, Aquilani is the top assist maker in Serie A.

Yeah your right, Valencia are definately making Soldado one of the highest earners in the world and paying him 200k a week, and without doubt they will accept 25M for Mata but want 60M for Soldado

Soldado is on 70k a week at Valencia. Mata is 80k a week at Chelsea. Soldado would cost around 25M Mata did cost around 25M.

Quite alot as I started watching Ajax after we were linked to Suarez, found out he was banned so wasnt playing, but just watched them anyway and saw they had players like Erikson so watch them whenever they are on TV

So you honestly dont think that you can sign a world class striker for 30M and a world class winger for 25M Mata is near world class, 25M. Karim Benzema, near world class, 30M to Madrid. Sergio Aguero. 35M Dzeko. 30M Suarez 22M Torres 22M Sniejder 12M Van Der Vaart. 8M Robben 19M Ozil 12M Di Maria 22M Alexis Sanchez 18M David Silva 22M Is that enough example to prove you can get top talent for the prices we paid for Carroll and Downing? Notice anything about that list btw, not a single Brit on it. Thats just listing to ones that have taken place when the player was world class or close to world class. And I would be willing to bet that we would be able to get players of similar quality for similar prices, the likes of Rossi, Hazard, Marin, Lavezzi Cavani, Llorente, Pato, Damao, Moura etc Realistic targets I would liekt o see who i would bet would do a great job, the ikes of Christian Erikson, who I would bet we could get for 20M max.

Depressing to think where we could be. Bit of Football anager here but for the money, off the top of my head, this is a better quality fo team. Reina Glen-Skrtel-Agger-Jose Lucas - Parker Gerrard Mata-Soldado-Suarez Plus that would have left us with money ove so the likes of Hendo, Coates and Adam could have all still come in as squad players. I dont really like signing british players usually but i wish we had went for parker, he would have helped lucas defensively and meant gerrard/adam/hendo could attack more.

Complete garbage. We have a shitload more than Spurs. We spent the same as Utd in the summer. And we spent more than Arsenal. Since the PL began we have spent more than most teams. We have spent over 200M net since then, Arsenal have spent 30M net and look where they are, we we are, what they have won, and what we have won. Yet we spent a shitload more. Andy Carroll is shite. Simple as that really. We are looking at possibly one of the worst transfers in the history of any fucking sport, and easily the worst in football. He is a 5-10M player who had a purple patch and we spent 35M on the cunt. Fucking depressing that is. We lost Torres, our best striker possibly ever, and replaced him with ths clown. Whoever made this deal needs to have a fucking word with themselves. Probelm is if we sold him we would be lucky to get 10M for him cuse he has stunk out the place for near on a year. I cant believe how shite he is, I would honestly rather have Grant fucking Holt than this clown. Everyone calls him a donkey, thats an insult to donkeys, I would rather have fucking Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh playing up front than this guy. He is so poor, and I havent EVER seen anything to suggest he will ever be a great player, because he has no personal ability, everything he does is reliant on someone utting it on a fucking plate for him, even at Newcastle. Start Adam Morgan and fuck this guy off to some shite middle table team, porblem is he is on 75k a week, who the fuck would pay him that. Fucking despresses me everytime I think about it that this guy is who Kenny chose to replace Torres, we could have went after a true world class player and we chose this guy. I'll get shit for this but if FSG do give Kenny big money to go to the market with, I wouldnt be confident with what Kenny will bring back. 55M on fucking Carroll and Downing. We could have got Soldado and Mata for that on similar wages.
