FFS, Looking through this thread so many people are only willing to back Kenny as far as a caretaker role. What bullshit, if anyone deserve the chance to turn this club around it's Kenny. Our last title was won by him and due to personal reasons he never got the chance to back that up and quit. It would be a fairy tale but a realistic one, the players would have so much respect for him and rightly so, he is a liverpool legend, possibly besides shanks the greatest one. Best player i've seen for sure, Nando could do with a partner like him. If these new owners are ready to splash a bit of cash initially to get Liverpool back to a formiddible squad which all reports are they are, I only really have confidence in kenny to bring back the glory days. I wouldn't feel as comfortable having anyone else but him handed a kitty of 50+ million and free to use as they wish. I sent a similar post to this back in july last year then to my shock and dismay Roy was appointed... Hated the situation since. Kenny deserves alot more than a fucking caretakers role, he deserves the real deal and to be backed to the hilt.

Thats because he was billed as a replacement for Alonso which with all due respect to Alberto he isn't. If he could sit in the hole though he could have been very very good for us, alot better than Jovanovic, Yossi or Cole so far. He just had a great pass and 9 times out of 10 it was first touch, so hard to defend.

He always looks good. A couple of his first few games for us were a bit avo but really, in the majority he showed a real spark in the games and set up quite a few and even polished of a couple. He was never right but still showed great talent for us, absolutely baffled at the decision to let him leave. A massive disappointment to not see even see a 3/4 of a season of that brilliant one touch quick passing that I seen late last season, massive fuck up by the management and they will only have themselves to blame at the end of their show.

The best thing Roy could have brought with him would have been Hangeland.

We are in desparate need of a change in central defense. Crying out for a defended that can use his head and has a quick turn of pace, one that directs and leads the defensive line would be great then we can start phasing out the debilatating Carra. Probably could do with a manager with a winning mentality too.
