Not sure of everyone's opinion of him on here, the last forum i was at were almost split. But this topic is about his interview last night, did anyone hear it? He was asked about the Carling Cup etc. and he replied "Yeah, it would be great to go all the way in this competition, and win it for the third consecutive year. Something no other team has done before" It was along those lines anyway, cant remember the exact quote. Is he pissing us off on purpose, or is he just a massive bell end? Does he not know about 81' v West Ham, 82' v Spurs, 83' v Man U and 84' v Everton?

So you think we should only ever give a new manager 2 and a half months? Im not Hodgsons biggest fan, and i think at the time, he was the best of a bad bunch. But he's in charge now, and i, and the majority of fans will back him til' the day he leaves.

I used to work as a security guard doing 13 hour shifts on my own. It was 5 on 5 off. whilst the money was good (paid every two weeks aswell!) It ruined my social life, when i was off everyone else was in work. I am now back to 9-5, Mon-Fri and wouldn't swap it for anything.

And to think some people preach about how we have the best fans. Did you expect Roy to come in and challenge for the league straight away? New players, tough fixtures and lack of funds. Obviously we want to do better than last season, but we are better off this season than the corresponding fixtures last season (counting West Brom as one of the promoted sides last season. We beat them all at home) so its not all bad. I fully expect Roy to turn it round, and i think the last half an hour on Sunday showed that when the team clicks we are a threat. And the point about Roy having no attachment to Liverpool.......what was Rafa's attachment? Carling Cup was embarrassing, but not the end of the world. We have bigger fish to fry. Get behind the manager or do one...

I kind of agree. Its too early to be judging any of them.....good or bad. Although i think the match on Sunday showed that both of them are good players. I was undecided on Poulson, but on Sunday he showed a bit of class, was breaking the play up a distributing it well. Meireles grew into the game and in my opinion was MOTM. I think both players will continue to improve. Thats my opinion anyway.

I think Poulson is a decent squad player. Meireles is a cracking player. How you can say Mascherano is shit is beyond me. Its so bitter you sound like one of them lot.

Yeah, i agree on the TalkSport thing, they are a bit contradictory. My main point though was, does anyone actually tune into MOTD and get excited about what the likes of Alan Shearer has to say? I only want to see the goals, and so take everything they say with a pinch of salt. Also agree on the actual highlights they show, a caller yesterday pointed out the Gary Neville dive v Sunderland that they didnt show.

I agree with whoever said play Torres. It would be a risk, but banging a few in tonight would work wonders for his, and the rest of the teams confidence. Would also like to see Suso at some point and think The Greek should be rewarded for some good displays with a starting place.
