  1. You absolute tool. Go back to your sucky blanket
  2. This Jones stuff is pathetic from people on here, the lad has chosen to go to man utd why would we be clutching at straws about signing him, you can guarantee Kenny won't want him now he wants players who want to play for us, not players who have us as second choice. If your jst wanting the deal to fall through then that is even more pathetic, let's just concentrate on ourselves and players who want to play for Liverpool, it makes me cringe reading this bullshit.
  3. If what the Guardian and Telegraph are reporting this morning is true and we have signed Henderson for 13 mill plus Ngog, well put it this way if man u had done same deal with maybe someone like Bebe we would all be gutted, it's a good deal. Henderson has bags of ability and potential he may not have been showing it consistently at Sunderland but in a better team surrounded by better players he will surely only flourish, who better to learn from than Stevie G? If we can bring in a winger, Adam, central defender and left back we surely have a chance of getting back in Champions League. We will need another striker as back up though I think were still short up front.
  4. Kenny has said himself he has all the ability in the world he just needs time and a run of games. I will judge him in the upcoming games just like Kenny said he is going to. He has too much talent just to give up on judge him after he has had a good runin the first team and is fully fit and I bet most of your opinions change. I was happy with him during the week he worked hard and was determined and looked to get in the box and make things happen. Part of the problem was the dross around him not being on the same wavelength with gerrard and Suarez back in and Carroll to cross for and given a run of games I think we will start to see the best of him. We badly need his creativity so anyone saying get rid in my opinion needs to have a word. I think he's a good honest footballer and tries his best and is honest about everything. If you don't agree with me then at least let Kenny be the judge but I'm sure if he starts playing well you will all eat your words, with Steve Clarke and Kenny coaching him he will get all the support he needs.
  5. There is no doubt he is an exciting talent but let's be realistic he has only just turned 16 in December and he is tiny at the moment he is like a lightweight Shaun wright-Philips physically. He needs time to develop physically he would get bullied in the pl and it could knock his confidence badly. He isn't 17 until half way through next season, give him another year at that age to build strength and confidence and ability. I don't see why if that happens we might see him on the bench next season at 17 is more realistic. Don't forget Rooney was well built at 17. Robinson for us at 17 last season had a much more physical presence. Be realistic people the lad needs time to grow in many ways.
  6. I live in the North East and my girlfriend is a Newcastle fan, she is gutted they have lost him and he is getting a right good slating. However, I've watched most of Newcastles games over the last 2 years and although he is a much improved player I have serious doubts about him, I'm more interested in what he does on the field here. Issues are he has no pace, no ability to go past players, is very lazy if the ball doesnt come to his feet, has very limited technical ability. 35m is way over the odds and I can't help thinking I hope we dont get made to look like fools. But like all of you I sincerely hope the lad does well and proves me wrong and creates havoc in defences which is why he's been bought.
  7. Paul Rogers from official site has said Torres was always penned in for afternoon training session as he had been allowed a break to Spain while we had no game, this has no signifcance.
  8. That's just petulant e everyone knows we would shift thousands more season tickets and a new stadium attracts more fans, it's a very simplistic view you've got and I suspect your just making a point.
  9. Anyone else wondering what on earth is going on? It's something which has been identified as key to our growth and competing at the top yet not a sausage has been said or done for a few months now? Surely this should be a pressing issue to sort out the direction the stadium will go and fast?
  10. Comolli: "Will Suarez be available in January? This is another story. For Young, if he is on the market then we will be interested." Comolli: "As far as Suarez is concerned, at the moment there is no dialogue with Ajax. He is one of the players we are interested in." Quotes from Comolli posted by amar Singh from goal.com tweeted by Oliver Kay make of them what you will I'm only sharing.
  11. I do know where your coming from mate, he didn't win the last two majors so people are saying he is vulnerable and out of form etc particularly as he didnt play well in his first round match but I reckon it's just bandwagon jumping most of it. I'd want better money for brown to beat klaasen
  12. So, he won the last World Championship, the World Matchplay, the Premier League and hit two nine darters in the final, European Championship, UK Open, US Open and was on target to win every single major until the Grand Prix and Grand Slam, and you think he hasn't been at his best?
  13. No, but great sports people generally appreciate other great sports people as they know what it takes to achieve great things. I'm guessing the only thing your good at is talking.
  14. Well he has just come runner up in sports personality of the year and a whole host of sports people, stevie g, Andrew flintoff, Ronnie O'Sullivan etc dont agree with your crap logic.
  15. Put it this way archery and shooting are olympic sports and there is more skill involved in darts arguably as you arent using a mechanism to propel the dart to the board it's purely hand eye co-ordination
  16. Sport isn't purely about physical fitness it's about skill, mental strength and ability, dedication etc etc Take snooker for example, you can drink and play snooker to high level as proven by some of the greats who have played the sport but you wouldn't get there without hours of practice and dedication and will to win. It's a crap argument saying darts isn't a sport. In that case McCoy only sits on a horse and guides it, so effectively the horse wins the race, same principal with motor racing.
  17. With all respect mate, Taylor will more than likely make you eat humble pie, everyone has bad days at the office he is too good to write off, so he didn't win the last two majors, Lewis and Beaton, two very good players, produced really good performances to beat him, he didn't play badly in those tournaments. He has started plenty tournaments slowly, averages don't mean everything you've got to hit doubles to win matches. I will be very surprised if he doesnt raise his game from here on in. I'm not saying put your money on Taylor it not worth it unless you've got enough spare cash for a high stake.
  18. You've sort of made all my points for me really. The reason Jenkins is 50s is because he's never won a final, he hasn't got it, and he's been ok this season I wouldn't say he has played that well he was the whipping boy in the premier league. Taylor moves up the gears when he needs to, those who are saying he is vulnerable need to put it into context, just because he doesnt win every single major tournament doesn't mean he is all of a sudden vulnerable, you can't go from being virtually unbeatable to vulnerable overnight.
  19. So don't bet on barney because he's temperamental yet he's won loads of major tournaments, yet you would bet on Jenkins who has never won a major, don't see the logic in that meself but good luck to you. Taylor always picks it up a gear don't be fooled. Webster and Whitlock are decent bets if you don't want to back Taylor.
  20. Surprised this hasn't rung more alarm bells among our fans, given what we've spent on players this is worrying.
  21. Dein will be waiting for Kroenke to take full control at Arsenal then he will be re-appointed
  22. Capable of what, as a player or manager? Thats the point everyone is missing.
  23. I personally don't think Kenny is the answer he would be on a hiding to nothing with nothing to gain. Weve seen signs in the blackburn and Chelsea games that we can play some good football, it has to be given a chance I can't see any other manager coming in and getting us into top 4 with or squad.
  24. This is getting more embarrassing by the minute. They should give you the job you are so tactically astute.
