Gerrard was a reason for Rafa leaving we all know they had fall out after that Torres sub when we was chasing a game. Gerrard has said all he wants is a manager that puts his arm around you when things are going bad.He loved Houllier and I feel hodgson is a british version of him.I also think to little respect goes to Houllier for the team he built and the team that went on to win the CL in 2005 all the love goes to Rafa but you have to give a big up to GH for his choice in players.We all know the reasons for Houllier falling down as liverpool manager due to his heart problems and the knock on effect that had on him.Liverpool ment alot to him and the pressure to make us fans happy almost killed him and to not thank him for his part in the 2005 sucess is a real kick in the teeth , to a manager that I personaly loved to death. Imo with Rafa he is great coach one if not the best in world but he has very little luck (or skill) in transfer market he is just not a good buyer or seller.Only top 2 buys he has made is Torres which I feel was a no brainer and masch which to give credit where credit is due.Alonso deal sort of fell in his lap and so did reina.He was really unlucky not to win title with 86 points but I feel his cold approach to man management was his down fall and also the sell of alonso who was a key member of the setup he has made him self. Hodgson is just what this club needs a GOOD MANAGER not a great coach and someone that can keep all the egos at bay working towards a common goal.

Thats bollocks A player like Gerrard would have more respect for a manager like hodgson then a manager like Rafa. Remember players at liverpool don't need alot of coaching they need a manager that can get them working as a team and I feel hodgson is the man for the job imo.

Yep he was untill last season one of most under rated managers around the guy bleeds football if he is going to be our manager I would be very happy with him.I know he would give 110% because he wants to prove he can once agian manage a top club and win things.He wouldn't just be here for the check at the end of the week he would be on a mission. :thumbsup:

I think we need to get the owners out but I feel SoS are not the way to do it. I don't think I can forgive them for those songs they was winging at thier end of season party. Even tho it is just about the dirty mancs we are liverpool supports we are better then that.

Am I the only person that supports liverpool that thinks having hodgson would be a good idea ? Can get cheaper players and get them working in an attacking system ! Knows how to buy effective players ! Good man manager ! Plus he is english and I like English clubs to have an English manager ! Plus you don't have to be proven to be a top manager Shanks didn't do any thing to fantastic before he took over liverpool and look what he did ! (god bless him)

No wrong we English have our own style and when we are on form it blows everything else out of the water ! Its why the prem is most watched league in world and why the best players come to england to learn this style of football. Thats being a football fan tho expressing your Joy or dissipointment I am 100% sure if the the fans had the chance to speak to the players it would be more constructive but they hardly get the chance the speed they run off pitch to go and cry in changing rooms hence why the Fans (yeah the ones watching it in ground) want to shows their fustration. You don't respect the english fans fine but they are alot more hardcore then most prem fans I can tell you. Also I like to note that most of the boo's imo are for the manager as he failed to do any thing in that game that showed the fans he can get this team playing football.

I think the fans who spent 5-10 k on getting over there buying tickets and watching that pile of S*** last night have a right to express their dissipointment with the team.Its not like they can have their voices heard like in a convo so they just boo to get the message across. I am very upset with england atm why do we do this in every world cup. (bar 66 and 90) I feel we need to move to 4-2-3-1 and play gerrard behind rooney and joe cole on left and lampard a little deeper get some team shape and really go for it on wensday. If he don't get this team motoring by wednesday I feel he has done this on purpose as a derailing tactic maybe he just doing it F*** us over like some sort of revenge for some dodgy glasses he bought over here years ago.
