The fact he gets in the box is a massive start how many others do??? Gerrard aside. Maix in the squad every week for me he gets goals / creates. Look at his second on tues how many others in our side woyd have scored that ? Not many.

Question - Who would be your midfield against the top sides when you need a ball winner aswell as flair????

1- Lucas covers more yards them most if nat all of our midfield (Fitness) 2- He gives away free kicks due to the fact he is willing to put hid foot in unlike most 3- Tell me a faster "ball winner" in the league? Non of them are fast. 4- Gerrard, Swaz are the only stand out players we have so standard wise he is up there easy with the rest of the squad. 5- The DM in a 4-2-3-1 does not need to be netting or assists not his job. 6- He was off the pace yest but 1 game in how many, there are 8/9 others who can't claim that stat.

Some of you on here are hard to please! Lucas has been all over this week, today he was once again left to hold our midfield together plug the gaps again with little/no help, he may have given a few easy balls away but he will Be far better than 90% of our players in most games this season- very easy to slate but he's a big player for us like him or not!

Some of you guys are had to please, as quoted he's been all over the shop this week, left to hold our whole midfield together again with very little cover/help! he's off the pace today so what I bet he has less off games then 90% of our other players this season. Very short memories!

Forget so called "Pride" some guy going to a game is not coming home very very sad. RIP.
