  1. No one knows who is captaining the fucking ship at the moment but the RBS are having a big say in whats going off at Anfield at the minute, of that there is no doubt in my mind.
  2. Fuck me I reckon there's going to be carnage if Hodgson is appointed. He's on a fucking hiding to nothing before a balls been kicked in anger. The clubs a fucking shambles from top to bottom and its no closer to getting resolved than it was in April, when the twats announced they were allegedly selling. The board is made up from slippery, snidey twats to a fucking man.
  3. What a load of fucking crap. Just shows how lowly we have fallen, wishing the best player we have bought in fucking eons the best of luck as he fucks off to Chelsea.
  4. If it helps keep Gerrard and Torres then so be it. I don't really see him doing anything other than wamring Chelsea's bench instead of ours TBH.
  5. Terrible news on such a momentous day for South Africa and Mandela.
  6. I hope so, but Roy's not the devil incarnate. We could do much worse if Dalglish not appointed. I wouldn't want Sven or O'Neill anywhere near the place. And I've had it with Spaniards...
  7. Perhaps not, but he contributed nevertheless as evidnced by their president:- The Englishman had an immediate impact, dragging them up the table to clinch a place in Europe. The following season, he led Inter to a UEFA Cup final and third place in Serie A. "Roy Hodgson was an *important person in the *development of Inter Milan to the point we have reached today,” said Moratti. “He saved us at the right time. “When he came we were in trouble, and things appeared dark. He didn’t panic, he was calm and made us calm “Disaster was averted at the most important time. Everyone at Inter will remember him for that and his contribution. He is considered by us all as an important person in our history. He left an endowment to this club that’s important in our history.” I would say we are in similar trouble and things appear very, very dark. So if its not to be Kenny, then a calm old pro like Roy...?
  8. Cock on. Fabio's probably gagged them tho. Joe Cole was similarly vague about his future yesterday.
  9. Can't ever remember the lad being on the treatment table either, and if he was it can't have been for long. Solid as a shithouse door, we need more Kuyt's and less Riera's - snivelling shit.
  10. Not going anywhere. Top lad, proper footballer. Long live Dirk!
  11. Yep, and either can temrinate after the year, I suppose.
  12. Italian football and Rafa Benitez are like horse and cart. He will be a major success at Inter. Good luck to him.
  13. I wish we would all stop bleating and get behind Hodgson if he is the man deemed suitable by King Kenny. If its good enough for Dalglish its good enough for me and we need someone 'no nonsense' at the minute. Roy certainly fits that particular bill. For over a decade we've flirted with haute cuisine and tapas, time for some good old fashioned steak pie!
  14. If its twue I wish Woy the warmest welcome. All wound the fiewds of Anfiewd Woad Where once we watched the King Kenny pway (and could he pway!) Stevie Heighway on the wing We had dweams and songs to sing 'Bout the gworwy, wround the Fields of Anfiewd Woad!!
  15. Might be a little sentimental and nostalgic of me, but I think Kenny is the only man who can unite us at present and our best chance of keeping Gerrard. If we keep Gerrard, I think Torres will stay. I am sure Stevie would fancy another crack under the King and Rushie. If not Kenny then we need a pure football man without the politicking of Benitez and the closer to home the better. If Kenny thinks Roy Hodgson is the man then that will do for me.......
  16. I sort of agree, but first full season under his belt will do him the world of good. With Fab's departure however, left back is a priority this summer. Matthew Taylor - strengthen the English requirement?
  17. And therein lies the problem that seemingly everyone apart from Rafa spotted during the whole of last season. Is Lucas getting better - absolutely. Is he a direct replacement for Alonso - absolutely not. Our lack of creativity from centre midfield was our biggest achilles heal last season. Couple that with Torres's absence and we seem incapable of winning matches.
  18. He's 3 years into a 4 year contract so 'No', but may not be as expensive as he might have been. And before you say we're fucking skint, let us at least indulge ourselves in a bit of fantasy after all the misery thats been on here for months...its the bank holiday!
  19. We need someone who can score scruffy goals regularly. I think Miroslav Klose would be a good buy. 31, a proven goalscorer at club and international level and surplus to requirements at Bayern. And allegedly a Liverpool fan.
  20. I think the only one of our 'big name' players that will leave is Mascherano. He had the opportunity to commit to a new contract before the World Cup and hasn't, theres been all these bleatings that his wife can't stand Liverpool / England since. If we could muster £30M for him, then reluctantly I think we would have to think about letting him go to Spain or Italy. And yes Pepe is a leg. Think Dirk and Agger should follow suit.
