Oh yeah, huge amount of luck involved. In a 16 teamer you're always going to be relying on injuries playing a part and giving your guy a starting gig. That's kinda why I don't really want to trade RBs early. They go down like flies and you never know who's going to get a chance.

Before the trading kicks in, might be a good time for a brief memo from the Commissioner's office. As Commish this year, and like my esteemed predecessor, I'll remind all players to keep the trade proposals reasonable. Lord knows I've been on both sides of a bad offer in the past, so I know it's sometimes hard to judge a fair trade. Any offers that are accepted that are woefully one-sided will be viewed with deep suspicion by the Commissioner and vetoing of any 'dodgy trade' can and will occur. I trust we can avoid such... unpleasantness. Also, if anyone wants a bench packed full of shite, call me.

Bench is a big bag of shite all right. The funny thing about the starters is that in all the mocks I did, I didn't draft hardly any of them, so it feels weird to have them now. You drafted very well. The injury-prone thing tends to be blown out of proportion, I was one pick away from taking McFadden when you got him. I thought I could get Rudolph late, same with Russell Wilson who the Lads took, who also drafted very well. Ah well. It's a long season...

Well I hate my team. Did a terrible job. I'm always terrible at drafting though. Who cares., the real work is done on the waiver wire. A reminder to everyone about the Trading Block feature at the top of your team page, to edit what players are available for trade and what you're looking for. Trades are set at a maximum of 8 per team for the season. I'll certainly be exploring the trade market in the coming days, after that debacle.

Thanks Lee. I don't want to make assumpitons but the lads in Australia or nearby might hopefully be okay with moving it back an hour too, since it was pretty late for them. If so, that'd be 6 out of 16 so far who would be okay with 4pm.

It's set for Saturday at 5pm UK time. I think we've got people in Australia and probably America in the league so it's probably not going to get it a perfect time for everyone unfortunately. I'm fine with any time on Saturday but I guess it's up to whatever time suits the most people. Most replies a few weeks ago were fine with 5pm on Saturday. Presuming everyone knows it and would've commented if it didn't suit.

Ahem. It'll be very hard for the Phlegms to repeat, but with a TLW Superbowl in the bag there's really no pressure on us. Can't wait til the weekend.
