Exactly right. Their business model is based on debt and squeezing the fans to pay for it. They're just biding their time. They can't do it now because there's no stadium or success to justify it. I doubt the manc fans, who have seen ticket prices steadily rise in the Glazer era time, would be as charitable without the recent titles. Even though we're still no nearer to a much needed stadium, the best thing that could have happened to us is the credit crunch. They just don't have the assets currently to borrow and are basically clinging on until either the markets ease up, which isn't likely, or some sucker offers them big money for a small slice of the club...again unlikely. Yes, the club is in limbo but that's got to be better than the scenario of them actually staying and fully implementing their plans.
