  1. Rubbish isn't. Hideously pre meditated and methodical, no pace, flair or off the cuff movment. It would be exactly the same with more money and better players too. He just doesn't fill players with confidence in posession and expects them to stick to their zones. It's so easy to defend against. That's why we excel against better sides who come onto us. To be fair, it's not easy to break teams down on a pitch as small as ours with ten men sitting on their 18 yard line, but it's not just tonight. Other than a spurt at the end of every season, it's been the same since he arrived and it's the biggest flaw in his ambitions to win the title, IMO.
  2. I don't even remember him leaving any gaps, you mentalist. Debate over.
  3. Haha. Rafa would have him in the team ahead of Gerrard. Unsurprisingly we haven't won owt since he started buying players with no composure to run about a lot.
  4. Attacking full back in leaving gaps shocker! I know you're a WUM, but would you prefer him to be in two places at once? If you want a more expansive game you have to make sacrifices defensively. Unfortunatley, we are just not defending well enough as a unit.
  5. So go back there then. Are you trying to educate us or something?
  6. I'd try Johnson in right midfield. He has all the attributes.
  7. Gerrard, obviously. Amazingly some tits still try and discredit his importance to this club. Mascherano looks back to his passionate best, if only it was rubbing off on the rest. Johnson - top drawer. Skillful and direct. I'd like to see him on the right instead of Kuyt. Aqualini is an obvious talent and looks a lot more mobile ad quick thinking than Lucas.
  8. Rearrange these words: Dog. Lumbering. Yard.
  9. I thought it was the wages? Make your mind up mate.
  10. Fuck off back to RAWK then, there's a good boy. This is a top site with a wide range of opinions, unlike your sad little cheerleader clique over there.
  11. He's in delusional Houllier territory.
  12. Johnson was superb. Strong, powerful and direct. Final ball was lacking but that's the case throughout the team. The manager will soon coach those attacking instincts out of him though. We have some good players but my expectations for this team are at an all time low. The spark has gone.
  13. I was made up. Fucking negative cunts deserved what they got.
  14. Not good enough. For all the posession we still didn't really look like scoring. I'm sure some bellend will blame the owners or the wage bill. Kuyt is Rafa's Heskey. I couldn't give a toss how hard he works, he's a limited footballer and should be not be guaranteed a starting berth in a creative role. Close your down on the way out.
  15. Kuyt stops every attack dead in its tracks. And the goal apart, Ngog has been garbage. Rafa is on very thin ice I'm afraid. The players look to have lost faith in him.

  17. Haha, how low have our standards dropped. Far too many average players struggling in a negative system and set up. The manager's timid approach drips down right throughout the team and fans at the match. This live topic thing is shite.
  18. Cautious, directionless garbage. We just can't defend as a team anymore. I blame Carra, the fanbase and wages. Waddle reckons Gerrard isn't fit, what with his extensive medical reseach on the matter. Hopefully Jon Champion has a seizure live on air, that should liven things up.
  19. It's the perogative of local fans to miss these sort of games. OOT's who profess their love for the club and yet seem to only pick and choose the big glamour games should be going to the matches where more tickets are readily available.
  20. Exactly right. Their business model is based on debt and squeezing the fans to pay for it. They're just biding their time. They can't do it now because there's no stadium or success to justify it. I doubt the manc fans, who have seen ticket prices steadily rise in the Glazer era time, would be as charitable without the recent titles. Even though we're still no nearer to a much needed stadium, the best thing that could have happened to us is the credit crunch. They just don't have the assets currently to borrow and are basically clinging on until either the markets ease up, which isn't likely, or some sucker offers them big money for a small slice of the club...again unlikely. Yes, the club is in limbo but that's got to be better than the scenario of them actually staying and fully implementing their plans. I'd rather go under than have owners who are only here to rip us off.
  21. Exactly. The debt wouldn't be paid off, the yearly payment would just go to paying off the interest on the no doubt huge new loans.
  22. You're milking this aren't you? Big moral victory.
