I have Mercenary as well, played a few while tea was in oven. Might fire it up again later on tonight once I am sorted for work and have been bathed etc. Will be trying to be a bit more sensible than last Monday when I was playing GTA till about 3 in the morning and spent all day at work knackered.

There was a guy in the airport hiding at the ladder end of the plane and killed me when I was in hiding in the cockpit, tried to get him from behind (ooh er) and he was already lined up and killed me with one shot. Only went for revenge because I spawned near there. Most part I haven't bothered although I noticed I lot I killed did try (and succeed).

Have claymores got to be opened up? As I don't seem to have any option to equip with them. If you go on rampage you get proper fucked (which I have). I've been doing more camping and trying to learn the maps to be honest as I am noticing lots of spots which I dare say I would never have found if someone hadn't killed me from them. Had a second game with the ones I was on with there and even with me playing conservatively they where really good killing me big style, few had mikes and they all sounded about 12 and still kicked my arse. That was on Free-for-all, I stopped the TDMs for a while as I didn't really know what was going on.

I have the Scar-H now. Going to have a break for a while to get my stuff sorted for work tomorrow. Some improvement but still largely getting my arse handed to me. Last game in particular I got a proper kicking. 2 kills and 15 deaths!

I can't create my own class yet, although I have got rapid fire for the UMP45 now. At the moment I am a Private First Class 2. Starting to get the hang a little now I think, I'm still getting battered but at least I am killing some on the way now! I'm assuming the best way to deal with a Harrier or Apache attack is to find somewhere to hide, curl up in a ball and cry like a girl? Seens to have kept me near to alive for a while. I've just sent you a PSN request. Just tried with the sensitivity and dropping it seems to have helped. Think I am a bit too cackhanded so need to drop it as I was spraying bullets all over the shop and seemed to be missing everything. I fell like I am getting on target a bit easier now but I still seem a lot more wayward than everyone else although at least I am killing a few now. I only have 2370 XP points at the moment. Weapons wise I have been playing as Grenadier or First Recon I had multiple trys as sniper scout but couldn't seem to get somewhere decent quick enough to be effective sniping. Although just had a try with overwatch at the sub pen and got 7 kills which is pretty amazing by standards previously. Play wise probably more a camper (at least always was on Unreal Tournament online when it first could be played online on the PC years ago). Although would like to run and gun. Does the automatic aiming thing go off on Multiplayer?

New to the game as I mentioned in the Black Ops thread. Would quite happily join clan even though I'm useless online. How does these Bling and things like that work? Managed OK with the game in single player but with online I'm totally lost now. Also how the hell do people aim so quickly? Is it just because I'm shit?

What is the difference between the Treyarch and Infinity Ward games? Only got PS3 last week and Modern Warfare 2 yesterday which is the first game of the series I have ever played so very new to the games (and getting properly fucked over online). Was looking forward to this coming out as been impressed with MW2 despite the fact I have finished the story already. Is Black Ops likely to be a step down then?

Spearing, Ecclestone and Amoo don't need to be counted as any player 21 or under on the 1st of September does not need to be registered. Of the players we have at the moment we only have to register: Agger Aurelio Torres Jovanovic Kyrgiakos Maxi Kuyt Babel Macherano Lucas Reina Poulsen Itandje?? (is on squad list on the offal still) El Zhar Skrtel Plessis Plus Gerrard, Cole, Carragher, Johnson and Jones who are homegrown. I haven't included Plessis who Everyone else we have does not have to be included in the squad but would be eligible to play as they are under 21 (not including the likes of Aquilani and Degen who are away on loan now). So as things stand we could sign a maximum of two more foreigners over 21 (3 when Masch goes) and 3 more home grown players over 21. Basically the squad rules are as dirk grout says, maximum of 17 foreigners over 21 and in addition upto 8 home grown players over 21. Anyone else 21 or under on September 1st 2010 can be played without being registered. Which would include Insua and Spearing etc. so they do not have to be registered this year. It's worth pointing out the Champions League has had a similar ruling for awhile now (Champions League is actually tighter as it is 4 home grown at the club and 4 home grown in the country out of the 25 names plus under 21s). Anyway on topic, sad to see him go because as a player I liked him, but if he doesn't want to be here no point in keeping him. Don't particularly wish him well, but don't exactly wish him ill either.

After ceasing lurking by contributing to the Moaty thread. First football related post tonight. Really pleased with how we played tonight, I've never been a fan of playing negative football and was nice to see us seemingly always wanting to attack. Nice passing and everyone looking like they enjoyed. Martin Kelly really impressed me tonight some of you have been saying looks like he could turn into a hell of a player for us. I was highly sceptical about Roy Hodgson but have been warming to him and really liked his reaction to ynwa. As for Joe Cole will leave it to a text I had from one of the lads at work who is a Newcastle fan "Joe Cole was wicked". Sums it up quite nicely. If he can keep that up for us I will be a very happy bunny. More optimistic about the club than I have been for a hell of a long time. Fingers crossed we have a change of ownership and we can all continue to move on and stay optimistic and enjoy the club again.
