The real reason Milan were not willing to sign Cissokho was because they werent willing to stump up the cash for him even though they had cashed in on Kaka. The whole failing a medical due to a dental issue was a way of covering this up so the Milan ultras do not grow restless, as they wanted to know where the money for their beloved Kaka had gone as it was clearly not being re-invested in the team! Cissokho for me would be brilliant at left-back especially given his performance against the Mancs.

I really do not see what the antogonism is about. People who are short-sighted fail to see the commercial value of such presentations but are quick to complain when we fail to compete for top signings due to our financial clout or rather lack of it. Barca have already agreed a deal for & with Keirison, but apparently are keeping it on the hush as they want to use him as a lure to sign Villa. Valencia would get Keirison on loan for a year including 40mill Euros....something like that! The reason we lost out was because it would have been virtually impossible to get a work permit for him as he's never played for the national team!

Real will be a force especially with the array of talent they have. Kaka is irresistable...was watching him here in South Africa in the Confed Cup. What is really unbearable about him is that you can man-mark him out the game, but its absolutely impossible for you to ensure that he doesnt have an influence on the game. Remember Athens....that assist for Inzaghi must have been the only thing he did in that game!

The problem with the defence this season especially in the big games against the arse and the chavs was that we were pressing too hard either because of the phobia of drawing (Arsenal)/because we were dominating too much, for too long periods such that the midfielders(Masch & Gerard), were being drawn into the attack. Normally they would have offered the defense cover, but if ever anyone had reservations abouts Masch's attacking impetus/ability I ask them to watch the match against Arsenal at Anfield. This left Arshavin the room to roam in the space behind midfield and defense hence he got the chance to run at Carra & Skrtel. Both these players are more man-markers than sweeping defenders who are more adept at dealing with players running at them hence the Arshavin mayhem evertime he ran at them. Agger is more of a sweeper-defender reads play. However if you have any questions/reservations about his(Agger) man-marking ability, they should watch the 2007 Champions League 2nd leg when he solely man-marked that Drogba cunt. Agger's the future!

Was actually shocked when he became third choice! Actually feel he should be the first defender on the team sheet when Rafa is making his team selection. Thats how much I think highly of him!

Apparently Juve are offering him to any foreign club for loan that is playing in the Champions League, so there's an outside chance. Don't know about Rafa's interest or our relations with Juve though.

I think what is important is to question the motivation of these players that are joing Man Citeh? I do not think that Tevez, Robinho, Santa Cruz, Barry have the impetus nor desire to propel Man City to the top, so mid-table it is. I think Everton are more of a threat based on their model than Man Citeh's buy-every-player-out-there scheme. Now they are in for Eto'o..that means Robinho, Tevez, Santa Cruz, Bellamy & add to that Eto'o all competing for the same position! Dont think they will cut it, but think they sure will take points from the scum with such a team and given their rivalry!

Whatever drugs these journo's & Fuckerson are on I want some of it!
