  1. Good video explaining about Labours current problems.
  2. I was born in the midlands but I Identify as a scouser now. Me and the Mrs were talking last night about how glad I am that I picked this team to support and how we are going to have a serious look at either moving up there or to Scotland.
  3. 100% this. Brexit has gift wrapped seats in some of the poorest area's of the country, seats that the tories probably never thought they would win, and they have won them without even trying!
  4. Katie Hopkins trying to get her "career" back on track?
  5. Labour never had a chance! Fuck this shit I'm off to bed.
  6. The one thing that Labour have done incredibly well in this election is that that they've banged the drum so hard about the Tories selling the NHS off to the USA. They have really backed them in to a corner on this! Now the Tories are in a position where they have no excuses to deliver a diabolical Brexit, but also they can't do it by selling off the NHS to the USA! How are they going to be able to do these things? They aren't? Maybe the reason that the Tory front benchers looked so stressed this week isn't because they were going to lose, but because they are actually going to win and they have no way to deliver anything they actually say they can do.
  7. Yep. The Tories have literally copied the Trump campaign. Appoint a populist idiot and convince the idiots that he will give them what they want. Lie and Smear the opposition as much as possible.
  8. Look at the trend! Explain where I'm going wrong?
  9. Again, following the trend. 19k voted either Tory or Ukip in 2015, Ukip vote went back to Labour in 2017, now that vote has gone to the tories.
  10. Oh well if the BBC said it, it must be true. The party that promised to revoke article 50 are on course to win about 13 seats! Look at the results coming in. They all indicate leave voters moving from Labour to the Tories/Brexit Party. If Labour only cared about winning this election, their best policy would have been to offer leave with no deal in January! Think about that! In this scenario, they wouldn't lose any leave voting seats and then, what do the the big remain seats do? Who do the Liverpool and London seats vote for? Even the likes of the s*n would be confused, who would they support in this election? This would also have been better for the Lib Dems as well as they would win a lot more seats in heavy remain areas. The underlying trend in this election is that the party with the clearest leave strategy is going to win.
  11. You do realise that you've been massively proven wrong and won't get to Remain in the EU now? I asked you ages ago how Labour or any party could have won on a remain platform.
  12. Also, for anyone thats laying in to Momentum, without them energizing young people so much over the last 3 years I think things would have been much much worse for Labour. I genuinely feel so sorry for all those young people that have worked so hard to get such a crushing defeat. The problem is now I think a lot of them will just lose interest all together.
  13. Agreed. It's no coincidence that the majority of strong leave areas are also the least multicultural places in the country.
  14. Yes, but he also would have had 3 years of the right wing newspapers tearing in to him, digging up anything they could use against him to make him seem unelectable! Since Labour lost its Right wing supporting media "friends" they have had 3 very different leaders in Brown, Milliband and Corbyn and they have all been made unelectable because most people only know the worst possible things about them. Also telling leavers that voting out was dumb, just makes them more angry and want it even more!
  15. Are people actually watching it? Is it not just like a longer more painful version of the Red wedding? Are you hoping for some sort of miracle of Instanbul comeback?
  16. Apart from when Johnson asked him why he was trying to block Brexit? What would he say to that?
  17. and @Jose Jones I'm obviously no Blair, but I've tried asking them why they want to leave and why I think its a bad idea etc, they don't care! They just want out! There has been a massive rise in the right wing globably and we are seeing the full result of it again in England tonight. Also a lot of people on the fence are just sick to death of elections/referendums. We've had 4 in 5 years! Even if polls show that more people would vote remain in a second referendum, the reality is most of them probably don't actually want another referendum.
  18. But how would he convince leavers to remain? I don't think you realise that there is nothing you can say to them? The Labour party membership backed Corbyn twice, and If he wasn't in charge it would have been a similar candidate, who would have ended up in a similar position.
  19. How do you keep people by doing the exact opposite of what they want to happen?
  20. I've lived in the Midlands my whole life, and The S*n racist narrative is all around here, and growing since the referendum result. It's no coincidence that Liverpool has such a heavy remain/Labour support as a result of not having that disgusting rag anywhere near the City for 30 years.
  21. Explain how the 97 Blair would have won tonight without his pals in The S*n helping him?
  22. I actually think it would have been worse because Blair would have gone much stronger on remain. A remain voting Blair with all the main media against him would have lost heavier tonight.
  23. The Blythe result may be surprising historically, but if you base it's really not that surprising if you look at the results of the last two elections. Its exactly as I said earlier, in 2017 the Ukip vote went back to labour. Now its gone to the Tories and the Brexit Party.
  24. The Tories only got 1,100 more seats in Blyth Valley than they did 2 years ago.
  25. I read a few days ago that there were very low amounts of registrations in the north.
