Gone are the days when clubs sign promising young players from the lower divisions e.g. Rush,Clemence,Keegan etc.......
Unless you give Doyle a chance in a top club you cannot say whether he could make it or not.From what I've seen of him, he shows a lot of promise and given the proper coaching he could turn out to be a bargain in a couple of years.
It seems nowadays top teams are only interested in full international superstars who are overpriced and underambitious, their only loyalty to the team willing to pay the most,kissing the badge of every team they play for.
