Will be interesting to see how the international ban pans out for Uruguay. On form, you would see Colombia putting them out. If they somehow get to the semis, that takes out 4 matches and the other 5 could be easily utilised as friendlies before the Copa America next summer. The effect of the ban could easily be circumvented by Uruguay in any case.

Liverpool Football Club need to stop permitting the impression to be given they are the real victims here. They did good work with Suarez last season. He got them to the Champions League. He has given them the financial means to replace him. To do that would be cruel. Liverpool always aspire to be more than a club. Prove it now. Forgive him, embrace him and keep working with him. That was a reasonable article, but Im not happy with that paragraph. We have been fucked over and that simply cannot be denied. Being told to take it on the chin and suck it up is just not good enough. That paragraph denigrates the work we have already done. That is unacceptable. This is a situation that has been made into a Liverpool problem, the ramifications of which that could severely impact the season before it has even started. I wonder if we are working with the Uruguayan FA, as its our only means of influencing an appeal, and given that we ARE the ones that are being fucked over, more so than Uruguay. One thing is for sure. Watch that domestic ban vanish if he goes to Real or Barca.

The bit where FIFA have fucked us over by denying us our player and the expectation that we have to part the cheeks and let them slip us one up the arse is the bit I have a problem with. I'm not sure how you can bring luck into it, nor claim that the punishment is not levied at Liverpool FC, when we are being punished.

Apart from the Major Tom is right bit, I see what you are saying. By the same token, I hate the idea that there is a possibility we don't do anything. We need to be getting under FIFA's skin, any which way possible. Even if we carry on in a dignified fashion (because that worked well in the past, right), and do everything we are suposed to be doing, I want us to be putting out some sort of defiance to FIFA about how we have been treated over this. I know it wont do any good, but when we have been hung out to dry by the likes of Bacon Face and our own inept lawyers previously, I want to see some authoritative action by us.

We cant win, but doing nothing suggests we are here to be pushed around. I don't like that. Everything seems to be loaded against LFC, whichever way we choose. As I alluded earlier, we get treated like cunts, we may as well start being cunts.

We shouldnt suck it up just because we have a precedent for doing so. Why should we be the example case every time ? It is likely there is nothing we can do, but at the very least we should be bloodying the noses of authority by refusing to play matches, no media interviews, protests against FIFA at Anfield and show the contempt for why we have had to suffer.
