Surely it would be a health and safety requirement to ensure all people could fit underneath... whats to stop it happening at half-time in any ground, any where in the world? The bottom half of the Kop is massive underneath and the top is alright for the amount of people up there. Would it be worse than Athens? I doubt it

I mentioned on the RTK thread that I'd seen Lazio fans completely empty a stand where the Ultra's were based during a game, it was on a programme about them a while ago. They were unpleased with the performances of the club and how it was being run in general. To avoid tickets being taken by day trippers as a result of a boycott why not buy the tickets, go in the ground, sing YNWA and the players names before K.O. then when the match Kicks off go underneath the stand for the first half. Still sing the songs so the players would be able to hear us giving them our support. Would grab loads of media attention, provide a striking image (imagine an empty Kop whilst a game is being played) its something different (in this country anyway) and combine it with spending nothing in the ground. We could even go back up in the second half if the teams struggling and we'd still get to see half the game, it's just be like going to Chelsea in the Carling Cup again!

I remember seeing a program about the Lazio Ultra's a while ago and they were pissed off by something or another (possibly Lazio's poor performances) and the whole stand left their seats and just sang in the concourse underneath. Very effective having a whole stand empty whilst the match is going on. If the whole Kop done it after YNWA for the first ten minutes of the game then came up and proper gave it the anti-yank songs once everyones back up it would give it maximum impact, from eerie emptiness to mass protest. Obviously the word would have to go round so that people dont think that theres a pie sale or a free bar as a gesture of goodwill from G+T.
