  1. No red card for Suarez, Sturridge, Sterling, Coutinho etc, etc...?
  2. We're going to exit the title race tomorrow. I can already see Allardyce gurning away after Carroll and Downing have a game they'll never better. Oh fuck, what if Joe Cole gets in on the action? I'm already furious.
  3. You'd certainly have to look at City's, too. I'm sure they can make things happen if they want to.
  4. I wonder who Bayern's new manager will be in the event that they suffer an ignominious defeat over the two legs?
  5. It's very hard to see past West Ham in this one. They've got Carroll, they've got Downing, they've Cole and they've got Allardyce pulling the strings.
  6. Tactically, he's very limited; an effete Sam Allardyce, if you will. When it works it can still be impressive, but speaking broadly, he hasn't moved an inch since 2004, and has simply been fortunate enough that other teams have struggled at the right time in order to keep his top four place secure. Without that,he's dismissed immediately.
  7. Because they're scared that a win would put them back in the title race.
  8. Maybe refs will be dispatched to help them out if the decline continues, perhaps a unique spin on the 'parachute payment', too. It's hard not to reach the conclusion that there'll be help coming their way based on those comments. It raises doubts about how many league titles Man Utd have genuinely won in the Premier League era, that's for certain.
  9. Stewart Downing and Andy Carroll would be our heroic 'DC' strike-force.
  10. Was it? At the time of Villas-Boas' sacking, they had more points than they ever had at that point of a Premiership season. Yeah, there'd been some tonkings, but the bigger picture wasn't bad. Then Tim Sherwood took the helm. Obviously selling Suarez would be a huge mistake, but that's because he's a far better player than Bale could ever be. It's like comparing Maradona to Chris Waddle.
  11. Solskjaer always reminds me of Cardiff born 80s TV personality & charlatan wunderkind, James Harries:
  12. Henning Berg looks tantalisingly like a shit manager, if his three years at Man Utd are sufficient for qualification.
  13. Dreadful manager. There's just been nothing, not even the bog-standard 'new boss boost'. Cardiff are relegated and the duo of Solskjaer and Tan are the architects of their demise.
  14. Don't worry though, it's just cheeky José and the love-in will continue when he lifts the title at the end of the season. Given their run-in, there's no way they can fail to scrap their way to it, furthering the narrative of Mourinho and his plucky paupers triumphing over the nouveau rich.
  15. I want an excellent display tonight - 20 shots on targets, 18 of which are near misses. 2-0 up when an horrendous refereeing decision / world class strike breaks their heart followed by a storming win over West Ham & a deserved draw against City. That way there's the slightest chance he might go on to be afforded the opportunity to plan for next season.
  16. Cardiff scrappily secure three points - queue media headlines about Ole taking revenge for his former club's humiliation, questioning whether he could be the man to take the helm from Moyes.
  17. "The long suffering people who've backed United..." What on Earth will become of them if the title contention drought extends beyond a solitary season?
  18. I think it's clear that Giggs is a dressing room cancer that needs to be removed from the club.
  19. Funny what difference a year can make... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21007186
  20. I agree. Who am I to question Sir Alex? Yet I cannot help but feel as though he'll be hounded out by an ignorant fan base unable to appreciate the monumental task he has to get last season's runaway champions into the top six.
  21. Should've been a fourth. Ref has to get them right.
