Also...its interesting that you believe that Roy must be given time to show how poor a manager he is (your statement, not mine). Usually people are given time to show how good they are? No?

Unfoutunately the only one I agree on is Babel. Lucas and Maxi in my opnion are decent squad players and Ngog is our top scorer for god sake....and also a decent young squad player. As for mr glass, cant believe we brought him back, so I'll give you that. Why dont you add Spearing to the list also since you are on to something here? We need to add a few quality playes and need to rid of a few but we did a decent cull at the start of the season already, nothing major is really required. Until and unless the style and tactics change I am afaird Maxi will always be crap (except for 70min against Blackburn) :whistle:

Agree with most of this except: - Keep Ngog (still young and can develop) and Kuyt (experienced and very useful in certain games) - Jones has to be kept. Unless we want to waste more $$ on another backup keeper!! And to answer the main question of the thread........what we got at the end of last season was Pulution, what we need is a Rafalution :whistle: but Evolution will do for now. I know he is gone and I should get over it, but if you see my # of posts, I should be give some oppurtunity to express myself for a while atleast...

Thats 2 people who have probably never worked a day in their their life (in an office or in a position where decisions like these are made) or are still in school?? Apologies if I am wrong!!! Let me explain..... If you have someone in your office who is really bad at his work, Option 1: You fire his ass and get in someone who is BETTER OR Option 2: If you cannot get someone better, you get the current staff to share the responsibility until some one better can be found. Obviously Option 2 is not possible in a football club, where the "someone" is the Manager, so the only solution is to wait until things get really bad and you promote someone from within or you manage to get someone better from the outside. Its not rocket science you know....To continue to justify this is beyond mental Rafa should have been given this season to change things around. What was done last season was purely out of spite or for personal issues at the board level between Rafa and CP. No other way to explain it. All this about losing the dressing room etc is just bullcrap

The reason we lost was because for the first time this season Rafa lost out on the tactics bigtime. For the first time we deserved to lose and we lost. I dont think he will under estimate Guus ever again. He deserves credit for this tactics. We played I believe with over confidence today. We have played our best when Gerrard playes behind Torres, not along with him as a second striker. There was a post recently, debating Gerrards position in this seasons games. I personally feel this was the first game where he was told to forget about the midfield and play as an out and out 2nd striker. This helped Chealse and Essian as he did not have to follow Gerrard all around the pitch leaving a gap infront of the back 4 for us to expose. He was for the same reason also able to at the same time dominate the Liverpool midfield. Essian/Fat franks/bollocks vs Lucua/Alonso is a mismatch even if both were playing at their top form. I would say even with Mash we would have struggled 3 on 2 if Gerrard played that high up (and espicially with kalou and malouda suporting on the wings and their fullback having pace). Aurilio and Aberloa could not really support that much due this same reason as they were busy dealing with them. End result we lost the midfield and the game. Even if we have not let in goals from those 2 corner, do you really believed that we could have won. We did not have a decent shot on goal in the 2nd half..... We need to move on from this game. I dont think lucas is to blame for the loss, but he did not help to prevent it much.
