I dont have a problem with a successful 'businessman' being involved with running the club. To an extent. Its what we all want isnt it? For the club to have loads of money to be able to spend it wisely in the transfer market. And that's the key, spending the money wisely. I would have a problem if this gordon character had the ultimate veto on our transfer targets or, dictated to the manager which players he can not sign. But even that is tempered to a degree because these threads are awash with people saying no manager at any club has ultimate say in who is signed and they all work under some control to a greater or lesser degree. As I said, its whether the control is towards the greater end or not.
