If you think Spearing's been crap, you're watching a different game to me. Working hard, neat and tidy. Nothing special but deffo not crap!

Spearing is included in the official Football League Team of the Week. Nice one Jay!

Spearing's started the last few games for Leicester, and despite being played in an unfamiliar wide position has made a good impression. Leicester midfielder Andy King spoke about him on the official site: "You're not at Liverpool by accident, especially at the age Jay is. He has come here and done really well, in what was a difficult time for us. His quality is there for everyone to see. He has been a really good player for us".

Many thanks Cabbage. I was optimistic I could find one, but I've been caught out before and don't need to be panicking about getting to see the match any more than I already am about the result!

I'm stuck in Central London on Wednesday night. My hotel hasn't got Sky Sports, and both Chelsea and and West Ham are on TV the same night. Can anyone recommend a pub where they will deffo have our game on?

Anyone got a clue where the Reserves away game on Thursday will be played? Their usual venue at Northwich Vics has been closed, and Altrinchham, The Cliff and Old Trafford have all been mentioned!

For all matches from the start of the first knockout round, a club may register a maximum of three new eligible players for the remaining matches in the current competition. Such registration must be completed by 1 February 2009 at the latest. This deadline cannot be extended.
