  1. At least its not Marriner, i'd sell me ticket if it was him.
  2. That's what I will remember this season for more than anything. Regardless of the off field problems the attitude has been a disgrace. Its the not caring from so many of our "superstars" that grinds the most. Never has the gap between supporter and player felt so great.
  3. ...will go down as a stain on the club's illustrious history. It just doesn't seem like the LFC I once knew.
  4. I think this is Rafa saying "if we don't get fourth i'm walking". Why else make a rod for your own back in this way? Its time people realised that squad isnt good enough to get fourth. Looking to last season serves no purpose. Players improve just like players get worse. Skrtel and Kuyt in particular have gone backwards, whilst Carra, Gerrard, Riera and Masch (until recently) suffered a loss of form they dont look like getting back anytime soon.
  5. From a footballing point of view the seasons over. The only thing left to achieve is securing the future of the club before a Leeds United scenario happens. I can only hope the message that they are not welcome is loud and clear. Before, during and after the match as well as at every single game. Last night should have been a boycott. Perhaps those shouting us down 2 seasons ago are of a different mind set now, hindsight hey
  6. Spot on. If you do go round europe watching us then you'd know the shitty way we always get treated. As a footy fan abroad you're a second class citizen, had Michael been on a normal lads holiday I very much doubt he'd have got treated in the same shoddy way. We're all tard with the same brush as reds and the stupid actions of a few bring the rest of us down sometimes. They couldn't give a fuck who they got for the crime, it was attributed to liverpool fans, and a liverpool fan was all's the authorities needed.
  7. Had Paisley stayed around longer he'd have won far more and in terms of building a dynasty able to blitz its way to trophies he's the best. His haul in that period was phenomenal. What Fergie has in his favour is his ability to change with the times, managing superstars spanning 3 decades and being damn good at it. I'm not sure many could have adapted with the changing face of football the way he has. What it shows more than anything though is that footy is a simple game, which is often overcomplicated by others.
  8. I agree but bias is naturally inherent in all of us and supporting justice is a two way street, the Bulgarian judicial system would do well to take note. To be honest I could empathise with any football fan world over who would have had the misfortune to go through this because when you go abroad watching football you are classed as a hooligan and treated like a second class citizen. The point is Michael was denied his human right to a fair trial. Surely anyone can see that?
  9. Unbelievable shit house comments as well in reference to the lads family. Talk about kicking someone whilst they're down.
  10. I know it sets a precedent but its one which will rarely be used anyway. This type of situation will rarely come up and even if it does set a new precedent perhaps its a good thing if it upholds justice. Just because something has always been done does it make it right?
  11. How when the official statement you yourself quoted said the test was 'very high'. Its a crock of shit. So to be guilty you have to convinced 'beyond reasonable doubt' he was guilty which they never even achieved in the sham trial. Yet to grant the pardon it must be set in stone he was innocent. Where's the logic?
  12. That would be the ID parade he was in with 5 indigenous Bulgarian men with thick heads of black hair, after being handcuffed to a radiator in the reception of the station he was being held in whilst in full view of said witnesses. The whole thing stinks of shit. Bin it on the footy fan, any footy fan we can find. Its scary to think an innocent person can go away in Europe to watch a footy game and be treated with no human rights at all. What happened to being innocent until proven guilty? Michael wasn't even afforded that privilege and those casting dispersions on the back of some non-decision from a spineless politician should be ashamed.
  13. Any action which damages the business of RBS is a good thing. I remember a few years back when Everton played Wimbledon on the last day of the season. They needed a win to stay up. The Wimbledon team bus was the subject of an arson attack. Obviously some believed that such action might have played some part in Everton staying in the league. You will always get those willing to be more extreme than others in furtherance of a common cause.
  14. Took it a bit out of context there. That's why I caveated what I said with the word sometimes. The situation has split the fanbase and as has been discussed on previous threads its even led to verbals between fans watching matches in the kop. For some even a protest is a step too far because they think its distracting for the players. One end of the scale you've got the apathetic fans who know full well the shit we are in but choose to do nothing and at the other end you've got the supporters who will use direct action to force the yanks out, then there's those in the middle who don't know anything about the clubs plight. That's why we need to raise awareness. Even the reaction to this minor incident has shown the divide and the way some have reacted you'd think the bank was actually petrol bombed. I would hope we all want the best for the club but as with anything, we each have different views on how that can be achieved.
  15. I don't think anyone has the right to preach what the right or wrong thing to do is in this situation. If people want to sabotage the RBS then that is their perogative and they will get a lot of support for doing so if it achieves the aim of ridding our club of the yanks. Sometimes the end does justify the means.
  16. About time people woke up and realised the situation we're in. I couldn't look back at some point in the future when its too late and forgive myself for doing nothing whilst my club got fucked. I'm proud of those involved, and if someone doesn't start to listen at the RBS well then maybe its time to take further direct measures.
  17. I think it's good Rafa has managed to get one of his targets early doors for once. It might seem pricey but he's going to improve us. What do people expect, Rafa to sign his targets in some sort of order of striker, left winger, right back?
  18. Isn't that just after Dossena made it 4 against the mancs?
  19. I agree with this. His movement and positioning is first class, just remain unconvinced by his shooting from distance. Apparently he has gained a stone in the last season and will be bigger again next year which will help him.
  20. Still no statement from him I see. He's like a fucking mute! Just say what everybody knows Dave, you dropped a bollock. Hanging on to that life president title is a piss take after what he's done to our club. We still need a protest outside his house until he's given that up as well.
  21. Houllier also left us the unflushable turds of Le Tallec, Cheyrou, Diao and to an extent Diouf and Cisse. Had he stayed we'd have ended up with Boumsong and Biscan as centre backs. Rafa has proven he can at least bring in a player and dramatically increase their value for selling on. Money doesn't buy that ability.
  22. Exactly. You can spunk as much cash as you want on something...it won't always look better. Look at Michael Jackson.
