Found a couple of real gems recently.
Conspiracy is about the Wannsee conference where they decided on the final solution, with Kenneth Brannagh as Heydrich. The whole film is set essentially in the meeting room but it's a tour de force of dialogue and character.
This is the reality of fascism, not just thugs in the street - but bureaucrats, statistics, jobsworths and bullies.
The Eagle has Landed, forgot what a brilliant cast is in this.
Conspiracy is a great film.

I think the players have just let Pepper get into their heads, personally.

I love how the Aliens film crew at Pinewood would stop filming for tea breaks and a raffle on a Friday!
Cameron didn't.

Marine beat the Purps 2-0 in the Liverpool Senior Cup tonight.

The BBC did full-cast radio plays of every single Sherlock Holmes with Clive Merrison, and they're ace. Their Sexton Blake is really good too. If you can get hold of it, the 90s American Werewolf in London that they produced was bloody brilliant.

Another vote here for Chicago being awesome.

Just watching T2. How do the T-1000's eyes work? Are they the same liquid as the rest of it? Can it see out of the back of its head? Or its elbow?

Give it a while and then try Blade Runner: The Final Cut.

If you go to Aintree B and Q and ask for Peter Sutcliffe's kitchen, you'll get a buttery yellow colour.

I'm nearing the end of my reread of The IPCRESS File at the minute, juggling it with Kathryn Bigelow Interviews, which is a load of interviews with, er... Kathryn Bigelow. Also got The Warrior's Camera on the go - a book about the films of Kurosawa Akira.

I think that could actually happen now as rules stand. But league fixtures cannot. Give it 10 years or so, Newcastle will be playing more games in Saudi than they do st James park. I wouldn't even be shocked if they just moved them like a franchise.
I'd love that.

Yeah, going to watch that at some point.
It's not a bad picture. Bryan Singer made it in between Usual Suspects and X-Men.

I've got the box set somewhere. I'll have to give it a watch again.
Only to educate the grandkids on what a 'proper' cartoon is mind...
I'm sure there's a new comic series based on it.
EDIT: there is...

I'm off to create a Slowhand font.
You'll be short on capital letters. He seems to actively avoid them.

It was. Didn't want to do it, not looking forward to writing the report. Might just copy and paste the FA Cup one.
Why not? The team did.
Good listen, as always, despite the circumstances.
