  1. That pic is the older design with the different roof. The one that is posted further back is what is going to the planners.
  2. Main Stand is being built on top of. Not a lot of lost capacity (though people will get wet for a season) But perhaps more importantly all the new expensive corporate seating (the middle tier) is in the main stand. You want to get that generating money asap. Annie road will be general admission. So it won't generate as much. They're doing it the right way round imo.
  3. The Kop is boxed in by Walton Breck Road, and previously had right's of light issues with the now demolished houses opposite. Hence it is the size that it is. Any expansion wouldn't be as easy as doing the two stands in the plan. There's not a lot they can do about it really. It's certainly prudent to do the Main and Anny Road first.
  4. That's the one i saw a few weeks ago. Unless someone has been pranking a hell of a lot of people its the real deal. Main stand is enormous. There may be some slight changes but that's what we're getting. Looks great imo.
  5. AFAIK the new main stand will be about 1000 seats less than the OT North Stand. Along with a complete refurbishment of all the internals that remain. The leak i heard about had Anfield Road diverted rather than bridged. The leaks are saying Main Stand - 20,480 Anfield Road - 13,900 Which brings us to about 58k. So yes the Annie Rd will be bigger than the Kop. At some point they could expand the Kop. But it would require a new roof. The Kemlyn is boxed in and the Skerries Rd houses were done up so no chance of more demolition.
  6. The plans are an open secret. Main Stand done first. Building over the top of it. Increasing capacity by about 10k (with lots of premium seating) followed by bigger Annie Road bringing the capacity to 58.5k with option to add more seats between the two to take it over 60k.
  7. Unless they offer silly money 65mil + and no installments he has to stay. Even then we would struggle to get anyone in and at a stupid price. Granted he will be gone in the summer but then we have time to replace him. As it is FSG should be making a huge statement that we DON'T SELL our star players to our rivals despite what a little shit he has been. Some journos think the clause only becomes active in the summer when there is defo no champions league and that it may only apply to foreign clubs. If thats the case you can see why Chelsea are really trying to get him now as they would be in a queue in the summer you would think. Oh and maybe its because of the FFP regs coming in to?
  8. While we have been done in a bit by Webb (thought it was a red in this day and age) i think its obvious that we're trying to play the ball on the floor more. Torres has not looked interested atm. We really need Kenny to get through to him someone. This game is a write off but at least we're not playing hoofball.
  9. Can someone PM me or email me the pics? jon at kineticflow.com I missed them cos i was at work :(
  10. In the plans originally submitted to the council the two ends are mirrors of each other with the same capacity.
  11. Both the goal end stands are single tiered. (aside from a walk way in the middle) its not going to be like the emirates where fans at the ends are cut off from one another by a section of corporates. Where people have the problem is that as it stands the two goal ends are exactly identical. There is nothing that makes the home end (aka the kop) stand out from the rest of the ground.
  12. The main reason for the high cost of construction was that the FA had to buy the land. As for increasing costs - that was down to multiplex fucking up. The design of Wembley was changed once or twice in pre planning (thats normal) but it was built as spec per the final design.
