Oh, I assumed that was sarcasm, given your comments towards me in the Monarchy thread.

Look, the pertinent point here is that that "one man" just happened to be the primary representative of the country, and he most certainly wasn't out of step with the population of the country at that time. And also that you're guilty of reading too much into a throwaway line.

So you were talking bollocks again. How exactly do you arrive at the assumption that the Irish population were fans of Hitler?

From a man who cries racism and antisemitism at any given opportunity, that's quite a statement.

I'm sure you would have a different (hypocritical) viewpoint if someone was to say that Netanyahu's actions mean that the Israeli population are also genocidal, child-murdering cunts. Or that the Tory leader's policies on immigration and the Rwanda plan mean that the Brit population are racist cunts and are happy to send vulnerable humans into some sort of inhumane camp. And anyway, Éamon De Valera wasn't voted into that position by the population in the first place so his views don't represent the population at that time.

I expected more from the only nation to send condolences to Germany upon the death of Hitler if I'm honest.

The nation didn't send condolences. One man did, he happened to be in a position of power.

Should an entire nation be held responsible for one man's actions, yes or no?

    Where did I say that?

Was he? Must have a had a shit lawyer. I've been to plenty of Old Firms and been around Celtic supporters all my life, not one has ever aligned the term "hun" with any religious association. Now if I called one a "Dirty Orange Bastard" yeah I can accept that would have religious meaning.

I grew up in a place where the word 'hun' was quite obviously a derogatory term used against Protestants and as equally offensive as the words 'taig' and 'fenian', apparently. We were advised not to say it. It definitely has negative connotations for the Protestant community and any Irish Celtic fans will be aware of that.

All quite normal in the land of sneaky fucking Russians.

Whilst it is shocking to see kids singing that song, it's not totally surprising. Worth remembering that a majority of the population voted the evil, racist, murdering twat into power.

Protesting against over 4000 children being murdered is self-indulgent? Fuck me you have a warped outlook on life.

Shut it you mean, anti semite. Strontium doesn't talk about the "conflict".

They aren't in the West Bank but it isn't stopping them there. this was never about October 7th or Hamas. That attack was just an excuse. They've been doing this for years, now they've got an 'excuse' to go full throttle.

The racist, genocidal "Bibi" has been wanting to wipe out the Arabs since the 1970s. Evil cunt.

  7. I was listening to a podcast earlier about this "conflict" and they mentioned a biography about Yoni Netanyahu (Benjamin’s brother) written in the 1970s in which there are several extracts that tell you what Benjamin has always been about. Here are two extracts:

At BiBi (Benjamin) Netanyahu’s dinner table in Jerusalem, I listened with crawling dismay to BB talking about the future of his country. “In the next war”, he said, “We do it right. We’ll get all the Arabs out, clear the West Bank and sort out Jerusalem too.”

He joked about the Golani Brigade, the Israeli infantry force in which so many men then were North African or Yeminite Jews, “they’re okay as long as they’re led by white men”, he grinned.

And yet this racist, genocidal cunt has been voted in as Prime Minister on multiple occasions? That tells me he has the backing of the majority of his people to go in and wipe Gaza and Palestinians off the face of the earth. Worryingly, that’s only a start for him according to the above extracts. Like I have said previously (to people's dismay), his ideologies are as evil as Adolf Hitler's and he needs stopping ASAP before he can play out the rest of his horrible fantasies.

There's a woman in our office who repeatedly uses the expression 'does it sound mad to say', she says it bare minimum 3 times a conversation.

My brother in law end every single sentence with to be fair, incredibly tedious.

Are any of the things she ever says mad, Al?

You got that response for your specious attack upon me, of course.

Very telling that when confronted with a person posting Holocaust revisionism, of all things, you ignore that, and instead attack the person complaining about it.

I think it's insane to deny the Holocaust, genuinely baffling.

I've ready plenty of books about it, I've visited the Auschwitz murder camps and can clearly say it's the most despicable event in modern history. I dont know how anyone can visit the blocks in Birkenau (with kids drawings still visible on the walls) or gas chamber sites and not come away genuinely haunted by the experience. I know I was.

I'm anti-murder of all innocent civilians, and I hope that comes across in the posts you regularly neg over on the Isael thread.
