Well, whatever credit is due to the Poles, I'm happy to say that, though I've lived here for a few years, I'm not Polish. I do, however, have a weakness for Polish women, Polish beer, and pierogi. (I'll look into recipes...) I must confess to being a Dudek fan of sorts too. That is to say, I like the guy and think he could be a great keeper... though he isn't. One basic point that's been overlooked with respect to Essien is that HE ISN'T THAT GOOD... He's a powerful lump of a fellow with moderate ability - and evidently a bit of a twat...

Just out of curiosity, I responded to Dunk's insults (under a new user name) as follows: "Two things. I never attacked Dunk personally. I'm not sure why he's attacking me as a "numptie" etc. If I criticise (as I did) the content of his site, it doesn't imply anything personal on my part towards him. (I've never met the guy, so why should I have a personal issue with him?) "Secondly, having criticised the content of this site - and having explicitly stated that I was trying to provoke a debate - it's a shame that I should have been blocked without warning. Moreover - and this is my particular gripe - I have a problem with a subsequent post being addressed to me (and insulting me) without any right of reply. "I don't have a problem with Dunk or anyone else criticising, attacking, or insulting me. None at all. As long as I have an opportunity to respond BEFORE BEING BANNED... "Is that too much too ask for? Or is this post (and my new username) about to be erased too?" We shall see... Frankly, I don't know Dunk at all - perhaps he's a genuine and decent sort of guy - I'm just disturbed by the amount of disinformation he spreads (particularly to those who are willing to pay for it)...

I've been reading this forum for quite a while in admiration (not least of Rashid, needless to say!), but having eventually registered last night, I'd like to introduce myself by way of my final post on Koptalk... "Sorry, I've been reading Koptalk for an age, have posted regularly enough (though hardly at all relative to visits), was tempted on a few occasions (despite where I live - Poland - and my consequent wage) to join the Insider thing... but... "How many times do you have to read Koptalk "exclusives" and other news items before you realise they're a total crock? Do I have to list them? I'm not going to bother... but the Upson story recently and the Baros drivel today are more or less typical. "All I'll say is that - despite the traffic on here and the fact that it was the first Liverpool site I paid regular attention to (in my 30 years) - I've had enough. There IS a reason that Koptalk is known on decent (if unspectacular and non-fee paying) sites like RAWK and The Liverpool Way as CRAPTALK... "Sorry, I like many of the posters on here (even Brenden f*ucking J!!), but... "And yes, I can anticipate the "Oh, please don't abandon us, Josef!" wit (ho-hum)... but there's a worthwhile debate in this - and that's my real point..."
