  1. and what about Ian Wright - he kept on and on about the ref and the goal, everytime they axed (in the words of Wrighty) him a qeustion he brought it back up. In fairness to the ref he only had one chnace to view the incident and he did kinda look like a foul!!!

    So...

Kenyon has come out today and said that both these players will still be at Chelsea next year and that are are important to the future of the club
  3. Eamonn Dunphy (a pundit on Irish TV) also said this and I'm almost sure it was in some of the British papers during the week, even Pele himself was talking about how good he is. I think Pele got 6 goals in 4 games or something like that in the world cup of '58, and as far as i know 3 of those were in the semi and 2 in the final - not totally sure though.
  4. He was also rested quite a bit by Moyes last year. He is a very good player but how overrated is he??? Some people in the meida are even saying that he is the best player since Pele - complete and utter rubbish
  5. For the first time ever I'm actually hoping he doesn't score and that England get bet because the sooner they are home the sooner all this shite can get sorted!!! Although 7-1 is a good price
  6. Just something I got in an email today. Any guesses? What will be the first cliche used by the BBC Television comentators on tonights game?Only words said between kick-off and the final whistle in each half count. All bets are void if none of the below are said. 7. Well if Diouf is still here after the summer (very likely i'd say unless we almost give him away) then I hope Benitez can get him playing well because there is no doubt that he has the ability but just doesn't seem interested half the time.
  8. Yeah that sounds like a lot better system alright.
  9. Yeah fair enough if the award it given out that way but I still find it amazing that eventhough he didnt score a goal all year (in fact didnt even come close to scoring apart from what you hear about his off-field antics) and yet finishes above our two top scorers (who also missed large portions of the season through injury) and the excellent Carragher!!
  10. Just on the YNWA site and saw that Diouf was voted the third best player of the year ahead of Owen, Kewell and Carragher - I suppose Biscan and Cheyrou are in the top two positions since they both also had oustanding seasons!!!:)
