Spanish forward Nacho scored his first goal for the club as the Reds U21 side defeated West Brom 2-0 at the Academy on Sunday.
Nacho headed in at the back post following a pinpoint cross by compatriot Suso, before Conor Coady stroked in a superb shot from 25 yards to give the young Reds maximum points. Right back Jon Flanagan played for an hour on his return from a long term injury.
