Will Liverpool Fail to Sign Bellingham in the Summer?

Right now it looks like Liverpool are the current favourites to sign Jude Bellingham. He is going to be signed this summer by Borussia Dortmund. There are three targets and they include Real Madrid, Liverpool and Man City. Right now it would seem that Jurgen Klopp is pushing for him and that he is the number one target for the team.

Florian Plettenberg has talked about where he is going to go if he does not end up staying with the team and right now Liverpool look to be one of the top options. Liverpool are the favourite but that doesn’t mean that they do not have a good amount of competition.

Florian Plettenberg has said that Klopp has expressed interest in the player because it could be a good way to increase the side’s midfield game. Bellingham starred for England during the World Cup and when you look at last year you will see that he was shortlisted for the European Golden Boy as well.

Klopp and Bellingham

Right now it would seem that Klopp hasn’t spoken with the player yet but there have been conversations held with Julian Ward and various other people. They just need to figure out who is going to be paying the money. Klopp is rumoured to have talked to Bellingham in the past and had conversations about the future of the club. He has been labelled as being exceptional and he has been congratulated on his World Cup performances time and time again. The information that people have right now is from the conversations between management, his father and of course, Borussia Dortmund. More information is expected to come to light over the coming week.

Bellingham is the Player to Bet On

Bellingham has a lot of potential and if you look at a lot of new online sports betting sites, you will see that they are giving the player very good odds on the chance of him scoring. Klopp knows what a star he could be and he hinted in January that his squad are going to be making some huge changes in the summer.

Liverpool right now are ninth in the league and they are a huge 10 points away from being in with a chance for the qualification spot. This midfielder could be what the team needs to turn things around, but only time will tell if he actually ends up landing with the team. Everyone thinks that Bellingham is going to leave during the summer and that Dortmund has no chance of being able to keep him right now.

The main thing to remember here is that in his contract he doesn’t have a release clause. The issue with this is that it is going to bring about a very high price tag. Dortmund want to try and get around 150m euros for him. The three targets are probably going to secure this price because the player is in demand and teams will be willing to pay the extra if it means them getting him for their side.

Valentina Maceri’s Insight

Valentina Maceri has gone and given her insight into whether or not Harry Kane could be moving to Bayern Munich. On top of this, it’s possible that Jude Bellingham could be leaving Borussia Dortmund as well. Sebastian Kehl, who is the director for Dortmund has come out to say that they are doing whatever they can to make him stay.

They want to make him an offer that is nothing short of historic and they want him to be the highest-paid player at the club as well. If he does decide to extend then he is going to be earning millions per season. Right now it’s not said whether or not he is going to extend his stay at Dortmund but at the end of the day, this could all change. Bellingham has said that he would in fact love to play at Liverpool, but there is an issue of money.

He is not going to be cheap and he could be worth millions. Manchester City and Real Madrid are in the race and when you look at the financial side of things, you will see that they have more money than Liverpool. This is all very interesting and it just goes to show that things can easily change for either team. Either way, it’ll be interesting to see how things change and whether or not the player will go to Klopp's side.
